I think it shows that the Krysae is a big advantage on consoles because it doesn't take time to aim. Great run, but I prefer the fun of sniping and doing headshots on PC.

what does console have to do with *anything*? does the krysae not function the exact same way on pc? what is your point?

Sweet zombie jeebus... who cares about PC vs console bar people who are probably living in a darkened bunker attacking and devouring any intruder who approaches for the taste of fresh meat possibly mixed with tabasco sauce and marmite!

I just say nice work to the people who did it simple end of...

Sorry, what I meant was that krysae is a big advantage over other weapons on consoles (not console vs. PC).  Without such a weapon, it would be a bit harder to do such a speed run.

On PC, it's easy to do headshots, so there may be other weapons that are viable.

If the video is any indication, the krysae seems to be the best shotgun in the game, with the added damage bonus of being a sniper rifle.

There are plenty of ways to nuke spawns. Cluster/Inferno/Arc /Lift Grenade spam with grenade capacity gear, high level Scorpion Pistols, all biotic teams...

thank you both. this is the reason i do squad speed runs and not solo. there are few things more exciting and fun to me than a team firing on all cylinders and tearing it up, be it in sports or gaming. my teammates are great, and i know i can count on them to do just as well as i would in any given situation.

great teamwork is what's fun for me.

Refrain from whining about the Krysae in the comments. It is a speed run. You use the best classes and weapons available for the fastest clear times possible, unless doing a specific class/gun run. It is flat out the best weapon for an all-out speed run, period. If you think it's easy because of Geth Infiltrator and Krysae (both of which got nerfed), put up a better time yourself. Simple as that.

I would not say Krysae is flat out the best choice at all. There is a number of weapons that are just as effective, even though they may require a more precise aim. As for GI, QMI with Grenade Capacity V is better for speedruns on such a small map as well. So really, anyone who complains about the setup used does not understand the game.
