i never disconnect from the game, but a lot of people do, even more on wave 11

why taking the risk of loosing everything when you can be safe early (3-4 minutes is a lot)

Well this seemed kind of random, so if a person's character is below level 20 and they want to get extra xp through extraction, then they deserve to get screwed? Why is that?

I try for extraction but I'm not going to waste a ton of rockets/medigel in Wave 11. And why..? For the same reason people have been playing video games since the 70s, for fun.

Hardly. Everyone that plays is in it for fun and the credits to unlock new weapons, very few are in it to try to get their N7 rank into 5 digits.

If their N7 is below 100 or it was right after a promote objective, then I would be sympathetic to that goal.

And leaving an N7 in the single or double digits is impossible. Until you hit 120 you're considered a Rook since that's the base minimum when you max out all the characters without promoting. Even if you don't level a class the store will level it for you.

I have no problem with anyone doing this, and while I don't actively premeditate myself- I definetly lose motivation after the objective is completed.

If you're playing Gold explicity for xp level gain, that's on you. I'm here to enjoy myself and get credits.

I never purposely die, and I'll fight tooth and nail to survive, even if I end up alone. But if I end up dying on wave 10 of Gold, I'm probably not going to use a medi-gel.

On Silver or Bronze, if there are people leveling, than I'd definitely be staying alive. Gold I find is usually composed of level 20 players, so the survival instinct isn't as strong.

Only if I need XP, I'll extract. But now I have a couple level 20s, I die on Wave 10 to farm.

You being the only person that wants to extract with a group of 20s is more unreasonable then them wanting to kill themselves after the objective, and not spend an extra 2:20 seconds to 5 minutes depending how much you haven't cleared after the objective.

Lol, a reason to extract is not removing credits from wave 10. That's a reason to quit and say screw this game and it's need for constant grinding.

I'll do whatever it takes to reach extraction, whether I need the XP or not. If I have any missiles or medigel left I'll use them if I have to. Also, I don't think I've ever seen anyone just give up after getting their money.

But some people don't promote for their N7 rank. Some people promote so that they'll have enough war assets in single player to get 4000+ EMS even with 50 percent galactic readiness for when they take down the servers permanently.

If Bioware threw in a monetary incentive for wave 11 you would see a lot more full extractions.I try to go for the full extraction no point giving up after 10 waves right?

I was thinking something on the lines of:
2500 bronze
5000 silver
7500 gold
the team would get less cash if it wasn't a full extraction).

I'd prefer to opt out on wave 10 to seing the effectivenes of phoenix adepts running arround with a graal 1 and a vorcha with a katana on gold who never heard of cover. The sad thing is, this is quite common. With this kind of squad it would be a miracle to get to wave 10, miracles happen.

My eyes almost blead out during that match.

So you want an easier way to earn credits. Not a reason to extract? Yes it is an incentive to extract.but it is also adding easy credits.  10-20 grand extra for extraction? LoL. Maybe 1-5 g's on Gold sounds like a far fetched possibility. IMO EA/BIOWARE will prefer to split the credits we already make,as they feel we are already making enough credits per game. Adding credits breaks balance. Splitting credits creates balance IMO.
