I dont tell other people to do it , but I will always agree to do it because of this.

I do it all the time. There is no point to wasting time extracting.
If there was a 10K extra cash at wave 11, then sure.

If I'm playing with people I know, I always do, on gold. If I'm on gold, I'm usually either level 20 or very close (don't have the skill to do it on lower levels), and often enough, I'm playing on a team of level 20s...
I know a lot of people are trying REALLY hard to get to that elusive level 21, but there's absolutely no point to extracting if the whole team is level 20. It's a waste of time. Level 21 cannot be reached! That level 20 XP does nothing! You just waste 2+ minutes of your life.
Don't say "instead of." My fun in any RPG comes from a sense of meaningful progression. I don't find it particularly fun to extract, in large part because there's just no progression associated with it. It isn't an "instead of" for me or others like me. Fun is gained through meaningful progression, not just through running around forr 2 minutes hoping no one gets too intimate with a banshee.

I do this when the whole team is level 20. If anyone is under level 20 then I will try for extraction. Also, one of my regular teammates is troubled by frequent disconnects, so we always die immediately after getting the credits for him to mitigate the risk of him disconnecting and losing everything.

My experience has been that roughly 9/10 players will attempt to play the match through to the end every time. It can be a matter of pride, a matter of not knowing how credits are awarded, a fear of losing xp/credits or even possibly paranoia over getting banned, or any combination thereof.
I'll only suggest this in PUGs if a) most of the team is already dead after getting the wave 10 credits, or
Personally, I don't have a problem with it. It's not even a farming efficiency thing. Between the massive armor damage resistances, stun-locking boss attacks, and the small yet ever-present risk of either me or the host losing the connection to the server, Gold just gets tedious and cheap at times. Frankly, I've killed so many Geth/Cerberus/Reapers on all difficulty levels, hearing the same bloody voice repeat the same bloody commands to do the same bloody objectives, I feel no urge to see every match all the way through.
Having said that, everyone needs to be on board. Finishing wave 10 and the 2 minute extraction is peanuts compared to watching some stubborn dinkus draw the match out for 10 more minutes while he goes through all 5 medi gels trying to beat a whole map's worth of enemies on his own.
Here's an idea: how about the credits won during the match get multiplied depending on how successful the extraction goes? Like, full extraction gets double, partial 1.5, lone survivor 1.25, and no multiplier for failed extraction (but you still get the standard credits)?

No incentive, and wastes resources which could be used next game.
If they didn't want to give you more xp or credits, even like +1 to each consumable for full extract would make it more tempting.

I don't purposely die, but I won't medi-gel if I got down.

That said, if I notice everybody go down on purpose on wave 11 I'll just quit the game. I don't care. I'd rather lose the credits than be a part of some cheesy philosophy that credits are the most important reason to keep playing.

Like others; I try my best to extract after getting the credits during wave 10, will mash the x button if down, but use absolutely no consumables.

Same here. I keep going and will attempt to survive long enough to extract. But I won't use a medi-gel. I might use a rocket if I can take out a whole spawn, but only for the satisfaction of blowing a bunch of things up.

Unfortunately, it's been proved that you've got more chance getting permanent gear from Spectre Packs, so for those going for it, regular Spectre is the way to go.
You shouldn't be so quick calling people idiots, that can backfire.
The word proof always makes me skeptical. Can you point me to it so I can see for myself?
I don't know where to find proof, to be honest. But I do agree that Spectre Packs give more permanent gear than Premiums. Premiums give more chance for Ultra-Rares, and Spectres give a better chance of getting perm gear. I know I've received a whole lot more perm gear by buying Spectres than premiums.

Long story short, I don't care about the extra xp as im level 20 on all characters, and the xp lost is regained by starting a new game 3 minutes faster anyway
Sometimes I'll extract for fun, but there's no incentive or me to do so other than that.

Spectre packs have one more equipment spot than Premium's, that's why you think you are getting more.waakeegan wrote...

Everything is RNG, but facts remain facts, you get more Gold Cards for your money in premiums than you do in regular packs.

Why are you buying Spectre packs for gear? You get gold gear also from Veteran packs with just as many equipment spots as Spectre packs.
