No pong? WTF is wrong with you? CoD lover!

Pong? Too mainstream. It's all about Tennis for Two back in 1958. It's totally underground, dude.

Hey! Shush up man! Don't be telling these mainstreamers about these things. Next thing you know you're gonna find pepsi ads on the covers of our experimental music vynils.

Too late you all heard about it so its too mainstream.

Adventure Games: Grim Fandango, Monkey Island trilogy, Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis, Day of the Tentacle, The Longest Journey, Full Throttle

RPGs: KotOR 1-2, Planescape: Torment, Ultima IX (my first RPG and I loved it), Jade Empire, Vampire Bloodlines

Platforms: Yoshi's Island, Donkey Kong Country 3, Donald Duck Maui Mallard in Cold Shadow, Prince of Persia (I had a very black&white PC my uncle set up for me with a few games)

Action Games: Max Payne 1-2, GTA San Andreas, Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine

MMORPG: Dark Age of Camelot (there can only be this one!)

Various: Lego Racers, Superstar Soccer Deluxe (SNES game, still the best soccer game I ever played), Black & White, SimCity 2000, Bomberman

These were pretty much all the games I owned before this gen came along... I had some more SNES, PC and Gameboy games that I didn't care much for.

I missed Order of the Flame. TAG was alright. A bit rough around the edges. I remember it fondly because of Rynn. She remains one of my favorite characters to this day. Plus, I got to ride a dragon and burn stuff from on high. Dragon riding is always cool. ;)

OMG I remember Draken (didn't even know of a sequel) I thought it was the best thing ever for the tiny bit of time I got to play it. I didn't get far but what I saw was awesome. I'm gonna have to find that game and play it.

Drakan isn't on GOG or Steam for incomprehensible reasons, I still have the CD and (huge) gamebox and nice manual. It's a pain to get it running on modern OS too.

Game closest to it nowadays is Divinity 2, but still dragon shapeshifting isn't as cool as riding one.

What a great list.  Man, I loved me some Scorched Earth.  That's when multiplayer was fun - a bunch of friends sitting around one screen taking turns. :)
