Last gen is considered old now? 0.0 I'm not that old (in my 30's) but c'mon now. Hey in the spirit of the thread, why not? Here we go.

NES: Super Mario Bros. 1, 2 and 3, Battletoads, Golf, Double Dragon 1 and 2 (3 was okay but to damn hard), DuckTales (don't laugh this was a great 3rd party game), MegaMan 2, Hogans Alley (fave lightgun game), Basewars, R.C. Pro-AM, Excitebike, Cobra Triangle (the first game I ever bought), Blades of Steel, Ice Hockey, Rad Racer, River City Ransom, Zelda II: The Adventure of Link, Skate or Die 2, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Arcade Game, Castlevania, Bomberman, Super Dodge Ball, Tiny Toon Adventures, Tetris, Maniac Mansion.

SNES: Killer Instinct, Chrono Trigger, Mortal Kombat II, Final Fantasy VI, IV, Mystic Quest (yes I actually liked it), Starfox, Stunt Race FX, Super Mario World, Zelda, ALTTP, Shadowrun, Super Metroid, Donkey Kong Country and DK2, Super Street Fighter II, Pilotwings, SimCity, F-Zero, MegaMan X, X-Men: Mutant Apocalypse, Secret of Mana, Contra III: The Alien Wars, Super Mario Kart, Super Mario RPG, Super Punch Out.

N64: Goldeneye 007, Perfect Dark, Star Wars Episode 1: Racer, F1 World Grand Prix (this game blew me away with the realism), Super Mario 64, Pilotwings 64, F-Zero X, Zelda: OoT, Mario Kart 64, Diddy Kong Racing, Wave Race 64, Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire, Star Wars: Rogue Squadron, Mario Party, Starfox 64, Cruis'N USA, Excitebike 64.

Gamecube: Wave Race: Blue Storm, Metroid Prime, Resident Evil 4, F-Zero GX, Super Monkey Ball. Wasn't a huge Gamecube fan as you can tell.

Playstation: Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy IX, Descent, Jet Moto, Wipeout XL, Resident Evil 2, Castlevania: SoTN, Final Fantasy Tactics, Gran Turismo 1 and 2, Bushido Blade, Diablo, Wipeout 3, Breath of Fire III, Oddworld: Abes Odyssey, Road Rash 3D, Driver, Tekken 2, Tekken 3, Metal Gear Solid, Need for Speed III: HP, Need for Speed: High Stakes, WWF Attitude (only wrassling game I ever liked), NBA Live '98, Twisted Metal 2 and 3.

PS2: Grand Theft Auto III, Vice City and San Andreas, Final Fantasy X, Final Fantasy XII, Gran Turismo 3 A-Spec, Gran Turismo IV, Shadow of the Colossus, Need for Speed: Underground, NFS: U2, Tekken Tag Tournament.

Dreamcast: Tony Hawks PS2, Crazy Taxi, NBA 2K2, Flag to Flag Racing.

PC: Diablo II: LoD, Starcraft, Warcraft II: ToD, Civilization II and III, The Sims, The Sims 2, Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast, Duke Nukem 3D, Doom II, Theme Hospital, Sim City 3000, Halo, Battlefield 2, Wolfenstein 3D, Sid Meiers Pirates!, Kings Quest II and III, Police Quest I, II, III, Space Quest I, II.

Genesis, Gameboy, Xbox, Virtual Boy, Sega CD, 32X, 3D0, Lynx, Jaguar, Atari 2600, Commodore 64, GB Colour, Sega Master System, CDi, Game Gear, Wonderswan, N-Gage I never owned, so I can't say.   Plus all the other consoles and I couldn't think of just now over the years I never owned, so ya.

This is great! I started a thread about a week ago asking for suggestions for the old Xbox console:

http://social.biowar.../index/12600342

There are a lot of great suggestions here too!

On topic though, the first three SC games are among my old console faves.

I have many favourite old games. Funnily enough, a large percentage of them are not RPGs with turn based combat and the like.

The N64 was an awesome console.

And I was looking forward to a nice juicy list when I saw a Crusty post in a favorite old games thread.

If it makes you feel better I bought a Jagged Alliance Compilation pack at EB today. Already have JA 2 thanks to GOG, but I like getting hardcopies of games and it's got JA + JA: Deadly Games + JA 2 Gold (+ Unfinished Business) in the one package for $9. Instant buy.

I also saw a Fallout compilation pack (F1/2/T) going for the same price as Dragon Age 2.

:P

Posted Image Don't forget about that 1.13 mod www.ja-galaxy-forum.com/

Although you might want to start off patched to 1.12 if you haven't played it yet.  At least for a little bit anyway.

I'm not saying last gen is old I'm saying it's "old" as it is. Technology these days advance so fast, that PS2 looks kind of rough and bad in comparison to the ps3 and xbox 360. The wii is just advanced, I believe motion controls were considered impossible at the time it as released. Xbox is a little better but it still has the rough and outdated feel, IMO. I mean graphics are like computers, 5 years means they are really old. But that's how I feel, doesn't have to be how you think.

Most of my favorites have been mentioned except for Master of Magic and Master of Orion (1 and 2, that is -- I didn't hate MoO3 but I didn't love it either).

Hmm, okay here's my list from the consoles I own personally. I have other favorite games from the Playstation 2 and N64, but I borrowed the consoles from friends, so I won't list them:

Sega Genesis--Crystal's Pony Tale (I was 4 years old and it was my first video game)

Super Nintendo--Super Mario All Stars

Xbox--The Bard's Tale (That game was hilarious)

Gamecube--Resident Evil 4

Gameboy Advance--Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap
