What dialogue would YOU add in ME3?

So, for a few minutes lets pretend Mass Effect 3 did not have all that horrible auto-dialogue, limited choice and godawful dialogue wheel. :wizard:

Let us pretend it was more like Mass Effect 1 , where you could pretty much act as you see fit to everyone. You could hang up on the Council or verbally attack them. You could be understand of Ashley's wariness of aliens, or tell her to get over it. You could be poliet to Liara or snark at her. You can be diplomatic to reporters or physically attack them. You can be tolerant of a Hanar Preacher or verbally berate him for being annoying/pan-handling then make racist slurs to the C-Sec Officer.

So you have quite a lot of choice in ME1 in how you behave towards people. Frankly, I loved it. I was supah Paragon on my first playthrough, always willing to lend a hand, a tolerant ear, offering secon chances...Then I went full Renegade and killed and verbally attacked people, I berated my teammates and didn't give a crap about anyone.

Then everything sucked in ME3 and I was forced into roles and dialogue my Shepard's would never say because Bioware thought cutting down on self-chosen dialogue and cramming in a crapton of autodialogue would be a totally awesome thing to do. <_<

So what would YOU add in Mass Effect 3? Why type of dialogue/choice would you you have liked to have been able to pick? Perhaps you would have liked to tell the Defense Comittee to go screw themselves when they try to ask for help (honestly, anything would have been better than that 'we fight or we die' crap Shepard spews out)

Or even get a chance to throw the 'ah yes Reapers' line back in the faces of the Council.

So what would you like to be able to have said? :bandit:

(Most are based on what my Full Renegade Femshep would have said. Oh and I actually like most of the characters in ME; I only really hated TIM, Kai Lame and Udina. I actually like Liara a lot lol, but there are somethings that need to be said.)

Meeting Ashley again:
Shepard: Glad that increased paycheck was put to good use.

Liara: Hello Shepard.
Shepard: Liara, you are a fairly lousy Shadow Broker. Why didn't you tell me about the female Krogan? TIM's base? Kai Lame? The coup on the Citadel? Seriously, what do you even do with all that stuff in your room?

Aethyta: Besides, this isn't charity work. She's one of the biggest intel brokers in the galaxy, and she's got some shady connections
Shepard: Oh for- who the hell doesn't know she's the Shadow Broker?

Liara: Shepard-
Shepard: Get out of my damn room.

Anderson: I was born in London-
Shepard: Yeah I got that.

Asari Councilor: We've lost contact with Thessia.
Shepard: That's because the Reapers attacked it and are now harvesting everyone. Maybe if you have told me about the damn beacon sooner none of this crap would have happened.

Joker: Bet the asari are wishing they had less dancers and more commandos. Too soon, Commander?
Shepard: No, that joker should have come sooner.
/alt
Shepard: Bet you wish that, considering one killed that sister of yours, jackass.

Kai Lame: You're slow, Shepard!
Shepard: Oh go ****** in a vase!

Shepard: How do you plan to get Omega back?
Aria: I think I’m going to employ violence.
Shepard: Sounds do-able.

Garrus: Glad to know my romantic…..uh……skills made an impression, because it’s going to take more than the Reapers to come between this cross-species liaison.
Shepard: Harbinger would just use me for my body.

Tali: Shepard. Wanna drink? I'm toasting Miranda. I think.
Shepard: Sure! I'll go get Karin. God knows I need a bit of a break.

That's what I've got at the moment :D
Most are more renegade options I would have liked to see, but some are more interactive. XD Seriously, I wanted to get wasted with Tali and Karin.

Add Shepard actually saying, "I love you" to Tali instead of being a cold hearted bastard.

I would be all for that; after all my Femshep was able to tell Garrus that she loved him, but Sheploo wasn't able to say that to his lady love? LAME. He should have been able to tell her after she says it to him.

I was hoping Shep's response would be "I know."  The setup was there!

This (fixed to suit my opinion).

Also, Shepard, it wouldn't hurt to emote once in a while when you see that the woman you're involved with is in life-threatening danger.

Seriously? How many LIs did he not say this to?

Lol I forgot about this, seriously, in that whole scene all I could think of was, "Shepard, really man, get your act together, wtf is wrong with you?"
First he does that, then when Tali talks about how special he is and how she looks up to him, he just, in monotone, says, "Thanks." Then at the end of the game, when it may be their last moment together, Shepard doesn't even say he loves her, practically just walks away pulling the "Keelah'Selai" to get out of actually saying he loves her. That's low Shepard, really low of you.

I guess they could add more choices, and allow the player to navigate these options with some sort of "wheel" system, you know there used to be a game company that used to do that... their name escapes me currently... I really wish they still made games.

I heard from a friend that they were trying to focus more on MMOs nowadays. But I have a feeling nobody is going to care...

So they are only targeting people with up to date PCs with a good internet connection that like repetitive gameplay, bad customer service, empty worlds, and have expendable monthly income in a bad market. That's a winning strategy!

The only ME3 romance I've important (indeed, bothered purusing at all) is Miranda's, and he sure as hell never said anything to her.

Oh God, how I would have LOVED for more dialogue choices like in ME1. You could really make your own personnality there.

ME2 also had good choices and comments. ME3 felt like you completely lost control over Shepard.

Although it was implicit, I'd rather enjoy a straightforward "I love you" out of Garrus to my FemShep, but I can do without it. As I said, it was implicit.

More speech options in general would be great. I'm really starting to pine for those neutral dialog options, on my third playthrough of ME3, and more left-tier information dialog options that aren't just recapitulations of previous events in the ME universe.

For the sake of those with ME2 romances and really just for the further development of ME2 characters in general, I'd appreciate more meaningful conversations that pertain more to themselves and how the war's affected them, rather than the mission or situation they are on/currently in.

I don't know that we're allowed to make mention of the obviously lackluster dialog in the endings, the only thing I could ask for would be the option to either paragon or renegade interrupt the star-brat and let the EMS and player choice decide the fate of the galaxy. Anything to contest the kid's claims that synthetic and organic life cannot coexist. If there was a conversation path we could possibly choose, using evidence of Joker's relationship with EDI and the geth reconciliation with the quarians to disprove the legality of his "solution". I don't know about everyone else's Shepard, but mine would never just lay down and die like all of the endings force him/her to do.

sigh i was waiting for a moment like that. the option just simply says "I love you".

as far as shepard being a cold hearted bastard, I wouldn't expect him to be the lovey dovey type anyway, I mean he kills things for a living.

edit: I also remember on rannoch where tali straight up says "I love you". and shepard's like "keelah se'lai", which was still a ***** yeah!* moment for me but... cmon son.

Anything that doesn't involve Shepard either wanting to kill them all or acting like they're blameless for all the people they've killed.

Because he's a soldier (*cough Sentinel)?

Tali also kills things, but she has a high school cruch on Shepard.

Well, even killing hundred of people shouldn't impair your ability to tell your LI that you love them.
Heck, even if you had been able to say it in London would have been nice.

How many LI in ME can you actually say you love them? I know my Femshep told Garrus that at the Citadel date.

Love it, alternately:

Shepard: Yes you can, you'll hate it at first but it gets easier.
