So...can we expect an update on the edited version of the book soon? I'm assuming progress is happening but we haven't heard anything since the release of the book and Bioware stating that it would be fixed.

I would gladly add 4th book to my collection. They said they will fix it, but I don't see it happening. It sucks Drew abandoned the ship.

Well, alot of the flaws were deeply tied in with the main plot, so he probably had to start from scratch.

I saw it in Easons in Dublin last week, I thought it was pulled from shelves?

They won't fix it, this book is of their least concerns.

There are exactly 15 people who care about this important issue.

They never pulled it. They are actually still sending new copies to stores.

They claimed to be listening to us and said they would fix it in "future versions."

They are side-stepping this by not creating anymore versions. Once they run out of the first printing I think they'll just let it die.

Not been pulled from shelves, seen them in multiple bookstores in local area. I doubt they will be giving us a redone version of the book anytime soon though have other things to work on such as EC

We are waiting for the publisher to make the needed changes and give us an update on when it will be available. When we have information, we'll let everyone know. =)

that is the only answer you will get untill the publisher is done.

I'm curious about this too. I'd like to see how much was changed, and if the new version was done by a different writer.

More like jumped aboard a luxurious yacht before the previous one started going under, took a journey to a treasure island and then decided to sail his own pretty comfy boat with a decently looking chest of booty on under his rowing bench?

It does not change the fact that if not fixed, it will add up to the stack of bull**** this company has thrown at it's consumers.

Bioware did a really good job with the extended edition for ME3. I am curious to see what they are doing to this book. Especially since it is taking a real long time to correct.

This is mostly True and the book was possibely scrapped.

Bioware doesn't control those writers by using a fine tooth comb just like what happens with every Star Wars, Star Trek, Resident Evil, Dead Space, Starcraft, Halo, Gears, DnD, and Warhammer.  Turning Bioware into a useless martyr is going to make your assumptions worse.

So true :( I actually bought this book, but didnt read it after so many complained about how bad it is.
I remember the Halo novel by Dietz almost ruined that series for me too.

Declare it non-canon and call it a day, I guess.

Its okay if you didn't like the Flood but I enjoyed the different interpretation of the Halo : CE story since its not focused on the Chief.  Either way its time for some people to move on.

Thats what most people would do with a licensed series.

Respect the artistic integritah! I suspect that BW had Dietz secretly write the ending of ME3.That, or Dietz is actually a pen name for Casey Hudson.

Such as??

EC is done (and possible DLC(?) is in full production(?))

A lot of people (Me included) have stated that they won't buy the book because of the errors.... BW and rEApers like money, people have money, people won't buy things that are broken, people won't give money, BW and rEApers don't get any money from potential income source.
