Costume changes for romanceable companions questions

I know Andres changes his in a quest in act 3 but is it possible to get everybody else (fenris, Isabela, Merrill) to change their costumes by the end of the game? On that note is it also possible to sleep with all of them? If yes, can I still choose between them as to who I'll end up with in act 3? Should there be a specific order when it comes to sleeping with them? Thanks for any answers!

Yes it's possible to get all their costumes to change and yes you can sleep with all of them lol.
Fenris and isabela both change their costumes if you sleep with them. The only troublesome costume is merrill's, which you only get if you romance her. It kinda looks weird anyway so you're not missing out on much.
Depending on who you want to end up with, you'll probably have to do some friendship/rivalry meta-gaming, but I'm pretty sure you can sleep with all of them and end up with the one you want.
I would probably go fenris (cos his is the most prone to not working), then pretty much in any order as long as you accept the one you want last, or reject anders/merrill afterwards (if you want isabela).

so Fenris 1st? I don;t know if I'm screwed now but since Isabela's friendship is high, every time I go to my estate (act 2) she starts the romance scene. I haven't slept with anybody else yet and I'm flirting with everybody. I do want to end up with isabela for a change since my warrior ended up with merrill.

From what I understand, Fenris is the only one who won't sleep with you if you've slept with someone else (even Isabela and told her it didn't mean anything). So yes. I think he's probably the best one to go for first.

Someone in the Fenris thread a couple months back successfully romanced every character and ended up with Fenris. I believe if you do everyone first, telling them all it meant nothing, then do all of Fenris' stuff ... questioning beliefs, speak to Fenris, Bitter Pill, blah blah blah. You can end up with him.

Ugh. Too bad this came when I've slept with Isabela and Anders already. I was thinking of settling with Merrill again and trying to get everybody to change costumes again. So I guess the order should've been Fenris>Isabela/Anders->Merrill if i want to do all costume change and romance everybody next time. T_T

I swear I did it like this when I had my 'horrible sleep with everyone' attempt and when I asked Fenris to stay he said leaving was best for both of us... I might have screwed it up in other ways though.

That's what I got too. got merrill, anders and isabela but no matter which options I chose at a bitter pill I couldn't get Fenris. It really seems like the only way I could sleep with everybody is to do Fenris 1st. Anybody can confirm the proper order to sleep with everybody and change everybody's costumes? I'm assuming Hawke has to end up with Merrill for this case because it seems like her costume only changes if she moves in with you. Ugh. I'll have to wait until my next playthrough. T_T

Yeah, I think you basically just cannot start his friendship ... AT ALL ... until you're done with everyone else. In fact don't even talk to him!

I see. So if I just want to sleep with him then sleep with everybody else I do him 1st. If I want to sleep with everybody else then end up with him I must do him last and I don't flirt with him until I'm done with everybody else right?

Well, this is all based on speculation and memory on our part. So just save your game right at the start of Act 2 and experiment

Would you have any idea if this is still possible if I wanted to end up w/ Isabela, Anders or Merrill (for the all romanceable companions costume change thingy)? Do Fenris 1st in act 2 and ignore everybody until I've slept with Fenris? Then do the one I want to end up w/ last?
