I'll start.

I hate how MANY gamers on forums (such as this) accuse other gamers for being immature or not having an attentionspan, if you say that you find games like the Metal Gear Solid series, the Witcher or Bayonetta, boring. (Witcher 2 looks like fun though and the demo was pretty kick ass, but the Witcher was definitely boring) and that I should go back to playing Call of Duty/Halo/Gears of War (I haven't even played Halo, Gears of War).
And God forbid if you say that you think Super Mario World is an amazing game.

Seriously? Do I need to hand you my gaming resume, that shows that I enjoy games like Fallout 2, Theme Hospital, Curse of Monkey Island, Warcraft 3, Dragon Age: Origins? Sometimes you just find games boring, and you think the story is crap. That doesn't translate into me hating these so called "Mature" games.

So what about you folks?

A woeful lack of decorum.

Although my feelings are not hateful so much as dismissive. Hating them kills my feng shui maaan.

I tend to hate when the term "true fan" is brought onto the table.

My primary complaint is rudeness. Most aren't guilty of it, but the ones that are, are especially vocal.

Close-Mindedness.

I come to this place with my own opinion, but the BSN is a community, and we should consider the thoughts of others - not just our own. My message is simple:

I liked Super Mario World.

I hate those who can't accept the possibility that other gamers don't love/hate exactly the same games they do.

For example anyone who enjoyed DA2 or ME3, or dares not enjoy Witcher or Skyrim is somehow wrong and must be corrected and/or insulted.

But I also agree with most of the other things people brought up here.

I hate it when so-called 'pro-enders' start labeling 'con-enders' as 'elitists' just because they are angry at the sloppy endings of ME 3. It's getting terribly old and it's not even a valid argument. Also, the PC vs Console wars. They just reek of immaturity and are a waste of time to begin with.

console vs pc
"I can't play this game cause it is not a true rpg"
"I cannot believe you like this game"

The problem some people have to accept that other opinions exist and that just because a person don't agree with you doesn't make them an idiot

Not being able to agree to other viewpoints and needing to hate what they themselves dont like. Mostly all the hate that gets spread about everywhere as soon as a game is involved.

I'm not a fan of people telling me that I have to play on Insanity to be worth my weight in salt as a gamer.

And I hope nobody objects, but this was so cute, I had to share.

P.S. Hating is bad.

Console wars, elitists and some of the reactions from the ME3 endings (from both the pro and anti-ender sides).

I dislike how people try to dictate how I'm supposed to enjoy a game, ostensibly by trying to dictate to the developers how they should develop their games. There's a difference between saying "this is what I want in a game" versus "this is what should be in a game," and the latter is probably where the dreaded entitled label keeps popping up. (I'm not a fan of the entitled label either, but that's because I'm not a fan of labels.)

There's only so much I can take of people saying what needs to be done to fix a game in order for them to enjoy it when they fail to realize it's really only what they want to be done because someone like me already enjoys it. Sure, I might be a minority here, but since when was it okay to say the minority shouldn't get what they want?

Oh right, only when it interferes with what you want.

I am being purposely melodramatic here, I don't feel oppressed.

I don't really hate anything.

Rudeness is bad, alongside other things brought up in this thread. But it all comes down to stupidity and emotionality. If someone is emotional and fragile/bad in a rational standpoint or argument, I tend to dislike it, and provoke.

How people can argue about how a PC, 360, or PS3 is best which it doesn't really matter and no one actually cares.
