Name one thing about your fellow gamers, that pisses you off.

2) Insulting people who play differently, ie diffuculty, class, build etc
3) Saying that any innovation is evil and vile and spits on "your" classic (ie moving from isometric)
4) Insulting other games that YOU DONT EVEN play, HAVE NEVER PLAYED, or WILL NEVER PLAY.
5) The most annoying of them all is when people in an RPG insult your choices/LI/etc and claim their's is better.
All of those ****** me off but 5 just makes my eyes twitch.

Oh and then there's the fanboys who have a company/game series that they worship. These people will never recognize any faults or flaws in what they worship and aggressively attack anyone who mentions a flaw. Even I recognize that some of my favorite games such as Dragon Age: Origins, Dark Souls, KuF:TC, Baldur's Gate, Divine Divinity and Castlevania had some flaws.
I noticed some titles attract a lot of aggressive English illiterate idiots. The Witcher 2, Dark Souls, Skyrim, Monster Hunter, Dragon's Dogma (the fan base that worship this game is unbearable as they expect everyone to eat out of Capcom's ass) seem to have a fair share of these people just as it does intelligent people.
Going back to Dragon's Dogma and I remember mentioning on another forum that that "only one save allowed" system was a poor design decision and then I had some massive fanboys of that game defending that system along with all the DLC which they vowed to buy on day one. I hear they brought the recent DLC which has the player collecting medals which don't even add anything to the game. That's anus worship if ever I've seen any:
Capcom: *Fart*
Fanboy: "Inhale it! It'll give us strength!"
I'm not attacking DD at all but rather some of the elite fanboys I've seen for that game. I've seen them for Dark Souls, Skyrim and The Witcher 2 too. I mean every game has some normal fans but I really hate elite and extreme fanboys of a game. I remember there were some for Fable 2 who tried to justify the game ending bugs. Dragon Age 2 also has a lot of these fans who look at the game as a piece of art. Even Bioware admitted that there were flaws in the game because no game is perfect.

This. YouTube is ripe with number 2 and 5.
"Stop playing Deus Ex: HR with shooting! USE STEALTH AND GO INTO THE SECURITY ROOM!"
"No you're not supposed to kill them! You chose the wrong option!"

I agree though, it's single-mindedness of some fans like that sometimes make you feel a bit embarrassed about being a fellow gamer.
For me it's being outnumbered when it comes to my opinions on certain games, if I were to express a viewpoint towards something you can guarantee that about ten people will suddenly leap up and tell you that you're wrong and ridicule you for forming an opinion of your own that doesn't follow the motif of what everyone else is saying.
Basically the hive-mind behaviour from people is what gets to me, and it's more apparent in video game forums (well most, if not all internet forums).

Anyone that has played AC knows that the game is about fighting the Templars, regardless of nationality. Yet the people on YouTube have turned the comments sections of most AC3 videos into British-American flame wars.

I try not to get pissed off about ppls behaviour. But, along the lines of what Giggles_Manically and Cthulhu42 said, I find it rude and irritating when ppl turn differences of opinion or favourite choices into personal attacks.
You should have been on a few Fallout New Vegas forums then....
Never have I seen such hatred and bile over fictional factions.

Oh I don't mean to say I haven't seen ppl spout hatred. I just mean that I try very hard to let it just slide off me. Arguing a position in a respectful manner is fine with me, but to allow them to ****** me off is just giving them power over me that I prefer to keep under my own control. I try to remember the line from Labyrinth where Jennifer Connelly's character tells the goblin king (David Bowie), "You have no power over me." I find it refreshing to remind myself that the other person only has power over me and how I feel if I give them that power. Getting angry about their statements is really just giving credibility to what they are saying, because if they are talking nonsense why should it upset me?Giggles_Manically wrote...

Personal insults, generalization of everyone who holds a certain opinion or likes a certain thing.
This. And also while this is a given I can't stand those who treat their opinions as stone hard fact. Oh, yeah. And the console-PC war is beyond moronic I believe.

Misogyny.
Read the comments on this video of The Witcher 2 Hever Castle presscon event.
Misogyny is hatred of women, not of Xboxes.
Sure looks like misogyny to me.

The crucial par of that sentence being "in response". Disagreeing with the opinion of a woman (even rudely) is not misogyny. Hatered of a woman is not hatred of women. Hatred of a person because of their actions or opinions is not the same as hatred of a person because of who that person is.
Sure looks like misogyny to me.
Then that is more indicative of your prejudices than theirs.
