I'd rather not see any old companions back, yes even the ones i romanced and worship at an extreme fangirl level... Cullen sure, he wasnt an actual companion.
So i guess... Npcs? Yes. Companions? Certainly not.
If they are in the next thing, then they are in it. Im not going to whine about it id just prefer if they weren't. *shrug*

I would like to see Morrigan again but not as a companion. I liked her but I've had enough of her in DA:O. I want to know where she is and what she's doing with my Warden but that's it. It be nice to have some sort of quest involving her and Alistair's baby.

If the main story will be based on the conflict between the templars and the mages, I couldn't think of a better time of her appearance along with her son (who has the soul of an old god, so it's reasonable to think that he's pretty strong to say the least). Her hatred towards the Chantry is enough to unleash her son's power on them. I, for one join the team of those who would like to see Morrigan again. I just wonder what happened to the Warden when he went through that mirror with her. It would be also nice to at least get a mentoining about that.

I would like certain importance to her.... but it's a difficult situation, given not everybody does the Dark Ritual and she could be killed in Witch Hunt.
With this her role could be bigger or smaller depending if certain conditions are met, but I think she can't be a major plot line.
