You'd think they'd get better at being specific with what they mean after doing these events as many times as they have. And still everytime we have to ask them to clarify the goal parameters.

Just solo Bronze with the BSe or VSe and it shouldn't be a problem at all.

On the topic of whether it's worth spending any more time playing than usual meeting the allied goal for the anemic reward, for myself I'd say no.  There's other stuff going on this weekend (it's summer after all), so I'll probably play less than I did even last weekend.  I kind of hope the challenge fails to see if the penalty condition is interesting.

Still, I'm at least going to play K/B/V whenever I do play this weekend, if only to help those who can't/won't/don't solo to meet their squad objective and get the chance to roll for a good weapon in their commendation pack.

Yeah I know, I just saw the twitter post. Well I gotta say I don't understand why. They do something right with the victory pack which got a lost of positive feedback and really encouraged actually contributing to the community goal and then the next operation they just take the incentive away again. All I have to ask is why?

Yeah, there's absolutely no incentive to do the community goal now. Even if Victory packs guarantee a rare, that wouldn't be worth all the trouble either because with my luck I'll get a character card. I guess I'll just solo bronze with the Vorcha Soldier.

This is right up my alley since Vorcha and Batarian Soldier are my most played classes. I have been falling in love with my BF3 soldier lately though.

I'm wondering how many Squad goals would need to be completed for the Allied goal to be met automatically. There are a lot of foot soldiers in any given match, after all.  I'm assuming kills that are earned in completing the Squad goal will also apply to the Allied goal.

No i wasn't joking, thank you for the clarification though, i'l be playing with people who have just got the game this weekend so the squad goal would be difficult otherwise. I had expected them to force us to have a four man squad to make it more difficult but it seems i was mistaken...

Edit: Yay for the free N7 weapon.

Getting N7 weapons in Victory packs was a really good idea, I really hope that they change their mind and putt them in again.

This is a bogus requirement.  i have been playing multiplayer whenever I can and have not unlocked one of these players.  This penalizes me and anyone I try to play with.  If you are going to make this a requirement you need to make these characters avaialble without getting a card.

...hell, even better just award everyone on Friday evening a "savage pack" that has a guaranteed batarian, krogan, or vorcha character, and maybe 5x medi-gel and survival packs.

Because god knows, if people are attempting to go into this challenge not having played one of those three races ever before, they'll need 'em. And, that nobody has an excuse for not participating in the challenge or precluding folks from meeting the squad goal through no fault of their own.
