Not sure if its different on Xbox, but he's quite skilled on PC, easily a gold class player.

Any difficulty. I've been playing MP throughout development, and have a full roster of level 20 character classes and maxed out weapons to go with it. Casual Bronze to Coordinated Gold, I'm down for whichever. I'm not nearly close to the best player, but I have a solid track record on Gold.
Even if my friends list will eventually be at its cap, I will endeavor to accept game invites from anyone sending them (unless I'm already in a match).

Great, another "Operation" I will miss because of work.

It starts at 6pm PST. So it starts Saturday, 2am WET (UK) or 3am CET (France, Germany etc.)

Although I think Chris meant 6pm PDT, as it's summer in North America and Europe. Thus, it should start 2am WEST and 3am CEST.

I've asked for clarification on this a couple times, including this thread.

Ok I'm confused, I just logged into MP and got the msg about the weekend operation, but I'm in the UK and it's 22.45hrs so pacific time is 9 hrs behind which means it surely can't have started yet? It's currently 14.45 PST and not 18.00PST? Am I missing something?

Ugh. I really wish they'd post (in addition) GMT/UTC times.

Something outside of regional daylight saving, and which most people (ie: non americans) are used to working off.

Well, from what I've read in the thread, seeing the splash screen DOES NOT mean that the operation is live, which I think couldn't be more counter-intuitive. I just played a silver match (full mic's on everyone) where everyone thought it was on like donkey kong, and thus were rocking vorcha batarians and krogan (i did batarian soldier w/viper x). Ah well, guess I'll just go with the flow and not harsh anyone's vibe.
