I initially wanted to do the operation as was intended (i,e, playing in a lobby with other Vorcha/ Krogan/Batarian.

However after many failed attempts to find a suitable lobby, I had to settle for soloing in on Bronze with my Kroguard.

Yeah, people were right that it would get awkward trying to do this in public games.

Completed the goal yesterday, but would still play vorcha/krogan today and tomorrow to get people through it. Problem is, there was always the odd one out who insisted on playing wrong classes.

Last night 4 Krogans made it to extraction... but my Krogan lag-fell through the map in the last seconds and triggered a partial extraction (all but me). Does that mean I have to try again?

This weekend squad goal challenge is incredibly annoying.

People can play 1 or 2 games on bronze with vorcha/krogan/batarian squad, yet it's Saturday, afternoon and I've just listened some rant from one of the players after the game on gold I joined as a substitute that I "ruined" their team goal...

LOL.

Get over yourselves people. You want to go for team goal, go for it on bronze and deal with the fact that some people does not want to play whole weekend with the classes they don't want to play.

Done the squad goal several times now, but still assisting others yet to complete it. I know about the frustrations with three savage races in the lobby and then number four is not a savage race. I use the mic to check that number 4 is aware that three are playing for the squad goal. This allowed a change of character to fit. Sadly twice number four thought the rest of us should just stick it. Not going to happen. Democracy rules.

Solo Matched DO count and NO, full extraction is NOT needed.

There is confusion over the Allied and Squad goals.
Allied Goal can be ANY race
Squad Goal MUST be only krogan, batarian or vorcha or a combination of those races

Quick question. If I solo bronze in a private map, does it still count towards completion or does it have to be a public match?

Random idea: could it be so that a lot of people have NO idea that the Operation Savage is underway? Because of course, there is a difference between not playing Savage because you are selfish and already did your part, and between not playing Savage class because you see no reason...

When one launches ME3 MP, there is a full screen notification on the weekend challenge along with what is required.

This is true on the PS3.  I only found out about BSN and weekend events because i googled for which ports to open, for my disconnect issues.  
If I never came here, I'd be clueless about events, and think some random guy in a lobby yelling at me to change classes was stupid, overbearing and uptight.

No, you're good. Partial extractions count.

I'm a PS3 player and I wouldn't have known about it if it hadn't have cropped up on Twitter. Been trying to do it but so far I seem to keep landing in lobbies/games with 3 savage characters and one human vanguard who does nothing but die the whole game.

managed to do the squad goal a few times on bronze...after which I just jumped into silver & a couple of runs on gold wit whatever squad.

Only issues I had being people thought all four players had to be one of the three races & people joining late as anything but the named three races!

Sadly, the splash screen doesn't quite work for Savage. Four reports so far, and that's only from people actively caring enough to 1) go to the social 2) read the topic 3) post it.
I believe that you can easily assume how big part of the comunity that is.

Yeah, I had a feeling that this would be rather difficulty to complete in a public match, so I just did what you did. I soloed Firebase Glacier, Geth, Bronze, with my Kroguard. So I'll be getting my commendation pack. However, to be nice to others who will still try to get this through public matches if I play public I'll only use one of the three needed races.

Quick question: Do the kills we get when not in a suitable squad count towards the 7 mill goal? Cause I ended up soloing it, but if I'm grouped with non-savage races idk if our kills are getting us closer to said victory pack.
