It's not that it's taking so long, but the complete and utter lack of communication concerning it.  We're not even sure what EC is exactly, just what it's not.  it gets people nervous and impatient.

Mmm, yes and no. You see, a lot of us are stuck in a holding pattern and It. Really. Stinks. If I had an idea of what was coming, I could either say my farewells and leave, or sit down and wait patiently and with a LOT more hope/excitement. As it is, we have no way to know if we're waiting on a pile of **** or a delicious dessert. That uncertainty is murder on tempers and patience.

Btw, please don't rag on Chris and the others. I'm 99.99999999% sure that they are under VERY strict orders on what they can and can't say here. Not their fault that the PR line is currently trollface.jpg

I know, but I'm giving a somewhat realistic amount of time that they might delay the EC, which I don' tthink they'll do. That amount of time in the post I responded to is an extreme hyperbole.

Summer will mean different things to different people. Some people think of it as June, July & August (traditionally teh warmest months). Some people use the astronomical calendar which means summer is between June 20 and September 21 this year.

For Australians, summer runs November, December and January.

For the Extended Cut, Summer will refer to when it is done and ready to be released. Could be this month, could be next month, or August or September.

It doesn't matter to me... take your sweet time with it.  Harbinger will strike back come the EC, so I would love for it to be epic.  It's good that it's not being rushed so we can be assured it will be quality.
