It's incredibly sad that I expected this kind of response.
Summer 2027 is also a possibility.

Because you don't normally get things like this. I'm willing to compromise. As an adult you should too.

Not even in the face of Armageddon!

It's going to be a cop out and one I'll have to accept.
People will calm down when they get a LI Reunion or Synthesis people get....whatever they're after.
We'll see Hudson. We'll see.
Er, if you don't mind me asking, why is it something you HAVE to accept? There are good alternatives out there now. There's not going to be an ME4, so it's not like there's going to be a broken canon. To my knowledge, Bioware's not holding your family hostage. So...why do you HAVE to accept a cop out? (if it turns out to be one)

But you also stated that it could be November, December, January....So the term Summer is pretty subjective to interpretation I guess
Great sense of humor you have there.
so we shall speculate more ?Chris Priestly wrote...
Copy & Pasted from the same thread yestersday:
Summer will mean different things to different people. Some people think of it as June, July & August (traditionally teh warmest months). Some people use the astronomical calendar which means summer is between June 20 and September 21 this year.
For Australians, summer runs November, December and January.
For the Extended Cut, Summer will refer to when it is done and ready to be released. Could be this month, could be next month, or August or September.

Again, why? IF the EC is the same as we got before, (remember, we're assuming worst-case scenario here), then there is literally no reason for me to compromise. In this scenario, Bioware served me a second helping of **** instead of the steak I thought I was ordering. I believe I DID compromise in that I was willing to give them a chance to fix the error instead of demanding a refund and walking away then and there. But if they continue and compound the error, and there are other companies/individuals willing to sell/give me what I want...well, again, why should I meekly accept the turd?
EDIT: For the record, I am fine with giving Bioware time to work if it means that they knock the ball out of the park. In fact, please DO take all the time you need, guys! However, we've been three months without even the slightest solid info. Look. If you are bound and determined to keep Starkid, just tell us! Sticking around hoping against hope that all will be fixed, only to be confronted with the same **** is NOT going to magically make us like it! Whereas if you DO plan to fix things, letting us know now keeps the resentment and worry from building to critical levels and allows for hype/excitement to rise. You're hurting both us and yourselves with this silence business.
The blog post about the ec says that all we can expect isOne of the devs came onto the forums a couple of months ago and said speficially that they weren't going to retcon out the Catalyst. The thread may be gone now, but I'll see if I can find it.
Exactly this. As adults we should be willing to wait and see what's in the EC and judge it on its own merits, nothing more. Compromise doesn't mean accepting the same mistake twice but instead is giving a chance to correct the first mistake.Reth Shepherd wrote...

Could be that non sequitur notation. Seeing as how we're both North Americans, y'know.
You're not helping yours--Bioware's--case here by saying "LAWL PATIENTS PLZ."

It might have helped if the "when it's done" timeline was used the first time around instead of having to base the release around EA's fiscal year. <_<
