I'm a little confused on this. It seems like sometimes I get injuries without dying.

I'm trying to get the achievement for completing the game without dying, so I check my injuries frequently. In the Carta hideout I suddenly notice I have 2 injuries, but I don't remember dying. Is it possible I got these without dying? Is there any way to check to see if I died? I hate to redo the entire hideout again.

In the Carta Hideout you get a quest, where you have to pick up the least expensive item out of 3 possible from three different chests. These in turn function as a key for a fourth chest.

If you pick up all items from either of the three chests, you get an injury for each item picked up which were wrong.

Don't worry. Yes, you get the injuries, but they don't count as deaths for the "Big Deal" achievement.

Always takes the cheapest item out of the chests.
BTW, assassins can leave you injured after a fight as well.

Also at the breccelian Forest in the little campfire.
You'll get injuries for that.
Not sure if that affects the achievement though.

I hope not. My P/C hadn't died ONCE until that. It would be one CHEAP AS HELL way of disqualifying you from the "Never Died" achievement.

Since Wynne was always the one who stayed awake, I reloaded and went there alone in order to make sure I am the one fighting the demon. ;)

It's possible to "complete" the campfire part without getting injuries, though.

Or does this involve doing the campfire solo, which I suppose would work
Never thought of that untill it was mentioned above.

If you leave immediately the camp without checking out the tent or the fire, the illusion dissipates and nobody dies.

Yup unless of course you get killed by that demon when the group fights it rather than just one of you hehe

Ah I didn't know you could do that.

I thought it just skipped the entire event if you left.

Good to know
