Operation Savage 

Description:
With so many planets conquered in Council space, we are relying on material support from the Terminus Systems. Eliminating risks to our supply line is a top priority. 

Allied Goal: Eliminate 7,000,000 trooper-level enemies: Cerberus Assault Trooper, Husks, Cannibals, Geth Troopers
Squad Goal: Extraction on any difficulty with the squad using a mix of krogan, vorcha, or batarian classes
Special Circumstance: None
Squad Goal Success: Squad awarded a Commendation Pack
Allied Goal Success: All players awarded a Victory Pack

Operation begins at 6pm PST Friday June 22
Operation ends at 5am PST Monday June 25
Reward packs, if successful, will be sent out starting 5pm Tuesday June 26

 This squad goal is terrible.  If someone doesn't have one of these three races (I don't) they are going to be kicked the entire weekend.  This is actively discouraging people from playing the game if they haven't been lucky enough to unlock one of these characters. 

The Krogans, which are orriginal characters, should automatically unlock for anyone who was not gotten them yet.  Did BioWare not realize that not everyone has one of these characters?

Obviously not. And, it might be a consolation or not, but since not everyone will know about the specifics of the operation you might be able to get enough credits before the end of ithe weekend to get enough packs to hopefully get one of the required races.

It would be, but not everyone has one of these three races.  I don't.  I would love to participate but I can't.  

It could easily be solved if they made a Krogan Soldier or Sentinel automatically avaialble to anyone who does not have one yet.

I have all the races listed for the squad goal but I do agree it is unfair to those that don't have them. Imo bioware should make & release a pack before the event that randomly awards 1 of the races listed to everyone.

BioWare is actively discouraging people from playing if they haven't been lucky enough to unlock one of these characters? I have been playing regularly since the game came out in what little free time I have. I was a day 1 purchase of Mass Effect 1, 2, and 3.

I wasn't a huge fan of the ending, but never felt that BioWare was doing anything malicious. Now they are literally ostracizing a loyal fan because I have not been lucky enough to get one of these characters. This is like the popular kids not letting someone play their game because they have the wrong brand of action figure.

I am sorry if this is going to sound harsh but if you don't have a krogan by now it only means that you don't play the game enough, your right to complain about this issue is slim.

I think it's good. All I have to do is solo Bronze with a VSe.

Some people have lives outside of games and/or no luck with the store and should not be penalized for that.

I play the game every chance I get.  I work two jobs and have a family.  I should not be punished because I do not have a plethora of free time to devote to grinding to get characters.  

Furthermore, the character unlock system is terrible.  I maxed the QI customization options weeks ago but still get cards for her.

I won't be kicking anyone because first among my builds for fun and mayhem are the Batarian Soldier and Sentinel, armed with a Scorpion. The squad goal reads like having one of them on the team is enough to earn the pack.

I dunno, I'd feel the opposite if I didn't have one of those races yet; I'd want to earn credits as fast as possible to unlock and use one of those races.

That is a little over the top I guess. 

I mean that I cannot participate in this challenge unless I get one of the characters, which BW obviously wants me to spend money trying to get.

Yeah I was going to use a Krogan Sentinel or Battlemaster.

No.  One the challenge page, Chris Preistly said the entire team must be composed of these three races.  No other races.

Or you have a life outside the game and can't play a lot, or the store hates you, or your only computer broke so you can't play as much, or you have school, or you took a trip out of the country, or Origin is messing with you. And I'm sure there are other reasons that someone can't play enough to have a krogan.

It is true some new gamer's may not have everything, I have only been online since May and obtained all the characters available at the time within a very short time.

No, the entire squad must fall under those classes.

You can have an all vorcha squad or a mix of krogans and batarians or all 3 races, just ONLY those 3 races.
