Thanks for the support.  I can't believe the resistance to the idea of giving a Krogan to peiople who don't have one yet.  Others being able to enjoy the character in now way diminishes other's enjoyment.  It isn't a limited resource. 

It's not the card issue. It's the fact that you can't seem to live with giving up ONE WEEKEND of playing an opitional multiplayer mode that is annoying most people, or at least with me it is.

All members of the squad must be one of the listed 3.

As I've said before, the whole character/weapon unlock system is stoopid.  It's an MBA-inspired effort to import an Farmville-style micro-transaction revenue stream into a game where it doesn't belong.  I want all the guns and I want all the characters and I don't want to pay more than the 80 ****ing dollars I already paid for the super-special edition of the game, nor do I want to have to invest my every waking moment to earn credits in game.  For someone like me who only plays around 10 hours a week (and not all on gold), it will take literally years to unlock everything.  This is already the most expensive game I've ever purchased -- why should I have to shell out more just to access all of the parts.  That's bull****.  I want my Saber X goddamn it!!

That rant aside, I can't get that excited about someone missing the weekend challenge.  So you miss one pack.  Life goes on.  Face it, you'd just get another fracking Eagle anyway.

You could probably add to the community goal, but I doubt the squad goal would count in that case.

That's another good solution right there, just solo some matches and if players join you they can't boot you until it's over.

I have a N7 rating in the 500s and I don't have every character nor am I complaining. All three of those classes suck anyhow hence why Bioware is creating a weekend so people can play them for once.

Tybalt, I'm sure people will play with you thi s weekend and I'm sure you will get one of those characters before the weekend starts. Just do a silver or two and buy a SP pack.

Obviously I can't know for sure (BW chime in?) but I have gotten Krogan Sent, Soldier and Van in PSP every single time since last night. Maybe they upped the chances on these races.

Now that you mention it, I did get a krogan sentinel for the 3rd time in a psp today. Could be possible.

Blame Bioware twice:
Once for looking over the people who don't have the characters
Secondly for putting the RNG system in place which means that you cna't get the characters that you need or want

It would be nice if they did.  I like playing and want to do so.  An all Krogan team sounds awesome!  Hopefully I will get one in the next few days.

All the characters are gold characters. For those of you who don't have one of the needed characters I suggest buying PSPs, I get trolled with Krogan Sentinals all the time.

I'm just gonna put this out there for you haves.

I've played about 200 hours since rebellion, not one vorcha. I've played a hell of a lot more than that since resurgence and only the other day got a batarian. I only got my krogans in between resurgence and rebellion. I'll be able to do the weekend challenge, but my friends that I play with most often will not because none of them have a krogan/batarian/vorcha. And they play as much as I do.

Moral of the story - Random store is random, you do have a greater chance of getting things from playing more - but if you are intensely unlucky like some are then it is no fault of your own. This is a ****ty challenge that needlessly punishes a small (but they do exist) part of the community for no real fault of their own.

Considering what you said in your first paragraph, I'd have thought you'd be more sympathetic to OP's problem.

Hmm, I have the appropriate classes/species, I just don't enjoy playing as them. This might be one goal I don't end up meeting.

Will we get an Operation Awesome with a squad goal requiring players to be human, quarian, or asari?

While I do have the characters needed to participate, I feel it's a bit unfair to the players that don't have them.

In the past, anyone that wanted to try for the goal was welcome but without guarantee to succeed. Now it seems more like separating the haves from the have nots. 

Keep the goals based on skill and not just luck of the draw.

I wouldn't care if they gave you a free krogan, it doesn't affect me at all. But it isn't going to happen.

Bioware/EA is hoping that anyone who doesn't have a krogan, a batarian, or a vorcha character will start shelling out real cash to buy packs. It sucks, but it is what it is. Having said that, I wouldn't be surprised if they made these three races drop more frequently in the packs over the next few days. So start buying as many as you can, you still have till Sunday to get one.

Frankly I think that they should have made all of the Day 1 characters available immediately when they released the last DLC. The hardcore players have already had them for a while, and it would reward more causal players and encourage them to keep playing.
