Or you have a life outside the game and can't play a lot, or the store hates you, or your only computer broke so you can't play as much, or you have school, or you took a trip out of the country, or Origin is messing with you. And I'm sure there are other reasons that someone can't play enough to have a krogan.

That's an awfully subtle way of saying, "I spent all of my credits on veteran packs."

Tybalt, it's only one weekend. Besides, you may be lucky within the next 48 hours. Just keep playing when you can and hope for the best. You said you had 2 jobs and a family. Dude, you have a family. Having fun with wife and/or kids > playing ME3 multiplayer all day. I know that sounds bad and hypocritical, but seriously, lol.

I'm starting to agree with the OP. It is pretty silly to have a challenge where you need to have a Rare character, but the challenge can be completed on any level of difficulty. It's an inconsistent requirement. It's basically opening up the challenge to Bronze-level players, but only if they've been lucky enough to unlock certain Rare characters.

OP I feel for you and agree, that releasing a random Krogan, batarian,Vorcha pack would be nice.

I must say I agree with the OP, the squad goal is not any sort of challenge it's a biased filter against those who are not fortunate enough to have one of the qualifying characters.

And it is entirely possible to play a lot and not have a character to qualify. I've been playing consistently since launch and I *still* don't have a krogan soldier, hell I didn't get the batarian sentinel until about two weeks ago and have yet to get either vorcha.

Yeah, the OP has a point. This guy has clearly been an active player for a while, and has gone through basically every weekend event, judging by his promotional weapons. It would be nice if he at least didn't need to totally rely on the whims of the RNG to even POSSIBLY have a chance at participating in the squad goal.

you take the time to rant and complain. you could be utilizing your time to unlock a character. you only need 1 of 7 possible characters for this challenge. you can easily do that before the weekend.

bioware doesn't need to do anything. they are already going to give away packs for simply playing under certain circumstances....be thankful for that.

How unlikely is it for someone to have both Batarians and both Vorcha unlocked, but zero Krogans? I guess I'm just a lucky guy. At least I get to participate with something, though.

Think of it this way: this is their way to get people to try and unlock those characters. If you don't have characters you must either play more, or purchase bioware points in hopes of getting them. Carrot on a stick all the way, so i don't see why OP is offended; next weekend it will be "all ex-cerberus party only" or "all N7 guns only".

Not sure, but I'm pretty close to that.  I've gotten 3 Batarian cards and 4 Vorcha cards, but only 1 Krogan.

There's either complaints about the Squad Goal or the Packs everyone receives come Tuesday. Guess we'll be seeing both this time around.
