I didn't post this is the Balance ALL the Things thread because this is a mechanical change, not a Fagnanesque change.
What I propose is this:  Change it from semi to fully automatic.  Then add an auto-charge feature; that is that when not being fired, it will automatically charge up a power shot.

I want to change it to fully automatic because the I don't think anyone can achieve the Arc Pistol's click speed necessary to grab its highest DPS, and it isn't the most fun thing to try either.  The auth-charge gives it the ability to still serve as both a power weapon and a rapid fire weapon.

The downside is that the it would require toning down some of its other characteristics, as leaving them as is would make this gun a bit too awesome.  

These changes would make the gun easier to use, and would effectively allow one to take cover while the power shots charge.

Might be a bit too much, but is an idea, anyway.  Whadday'all think?
