on the 14th of may, i was in a MP game, after the game finished, I realized that the credits earned from the mission was almost 3,000,000. 

I read of this happening to other people, and in some cases people who spent the credits earned this way getting banned. I sent an email to me3mpcheaters@bioware.com right afterward, but the excess credits have not been removed from my balance.  

I want to make sure i am not punished for this.  can this be reviewed and cleared up?

They should have removed the credits.

You'll be fine though.

You weren't the one doing the hackzoring, you reported it, and now youve posted a thread...covered all your bases.

Also you haven't been banned in the 2 mass bannings.....so you're gonna be fine.

I would contact support man, I've read about people here who had similar cases. I would say that if you at least make some effort and have something to show for it than you can plead your case if you get banned. They do have an appeal process from what I read if you were banned.
