Exactly. Inferno is no fun.  I played D2 for years. I've already stopped playing D3.

This is the sad part to me, as I've been playing Blizzard games since Warcraft: Orcs & Humans, and I already don't have the desire to continue Diablo 3.

All they had to do was copy paste Diablo 2, give it a graphics update and improve some mechanics. Players would have loved it, seeing as how people STILL play Diablo 2.

Though from what I hear, it was apparently an MMO to start.

Maybe you havn't seen the uproar from the latest patch.

less/ no loot from vase and chests.
repair bills exceeding gold loot gain.
nerfed attack speed.

basically if you play inferno you'll lose gold instead of gaining any.

I think it depends on the extended cut. But the replay value stinks, as the end is .... well we all know that one.

Borderlands is amazing. If you like co-op multiplayer games, you don't have to sacrifice game depth with Borderlands unlike many other co-op games. It is deeper, bigger, and broader than Left 4 Dead (another of my favorites) and this game without question. Offbeat-looking, sure, but don't judge a book by its cover.

My favorite part of the last patch is they increased the cost of repairs so drastically, it costs me 20g to shoot a normal skeleton (the cost of repairing item degradation)

Not really interested in any of those titles. I play other games. No reason to state that I am quitting ME3ME, because I always come back to it and play it and will most likely be playing it for a very long time. Not sure why people feel the need to quit just because there are other games. You CAN play many games. Nobody is stopping you.

I've already died down in my playing of ME3, I've really gotten into Ghost Recon's MP. Either that games full of noobs or it's just plain easy, because I can get 10-15 man kill streaks with a sniper rifle in close quarters against shotguns and assault rifles. I'm not gloating, quite the opposite, this is genuine intrigue here. I suck at competitive multilayer games, and yet I'm doing splendid in there. Don't believe my kill streaks? On Xbox you get an achievement for getting more than a 10 man kill streak. NeferiusX3, and I have that as proof.

Dawnguard is really going to pull me away though, vamp lords, crossbows, and the rumors of spears and werebears being in the DLC as well. Borderlands 2 will also take a LOT of my time, I loved the first game.

and bl2 will be out in september

BW better step it up by adding some stuff soon or its gonna be over

personally i want: New enemy types, objectives longer rounds maybe 15 waves, and a platinum difficulty.

so whats it gonna take to keep everyone on mass effect 3 multiplayer, and what games or dlc will draw you away?

I will be here in two months. I can open the MP and play some gold in a weekend, I don't need to stop just because I'm playing other games.

About this games:
I already play BF3, I don't like to spend too much time on it, it won't change with a DLC.
I don't have Skyrim yet.
I don't intend to get addicted in looting, so Diablo 3 is out of question for a life time.
and I have no idea of what bl2 is, so I don't care.

If the WoW forums are any indication, we'll be hearing it again every single time a new big game release hits about it being the "ME3 killer".

and they'll never be right about it. Ever.

Really, the only thing that will keep me interested is a linear mission.

Perhaps if they released a "Take Back Omega" DLC, they could include a MP portion. There might be levels of Omega (apartments, medic, garage) where you have to fight through. Clear one room to get to the other side, use that elevator to get to the next "wave." If there was even slightly more context to the MP portion it'd be far better (not that it isn't fine as it is). Although, I only played a little last weekend because I wanted to level up my quarian engineer for this balance fixes this week..but it hasn't come yet..

What is with this bizarre idea that people can't play more than one game? I doubt I'm going to play ME3 that much less in the coming months, because I don't play it all the time now. I play ME3 when I want that co-op third-person wave-survival shooter game. I play Battlefield 3 when I get the FPS itch. I play D3 and MMOs when I feel like turning my brain off for some loot grinding (ME3 sometimes falls under this, too).

There's really nothing in that list you provided that's going to scratch the same itch that ME3 does. So I'm definitely sticking around, and I'm guessing most people will, too. Will there be less players between patches? Maybe. But dead? No way.

Honestly , I believe this is a test. I would not be suprised if the devs are just using this to learn the ropes for a much wider game to be released on the condition that this test proves a success. If you think about it from a business perspective, it's a smart move.
