What is with this bizarre idea that people can't play more than one game? I doubt I'm going to play ME3 that much less in the coming months, because I don't play it all the time now. I play ME3 when I want that co-op third-person wave-survival shooter game. I play Battlefield 3 when I get the FPS itch. I play D3 and MMOs when I feel like turning my brain off for some loot grinding (ME3 sometimes falls under this, too).

There's really nothing in that list you provided that's going to scratch the same itch that ME3 does. So I'm definitely sticking around, and I'm guessing most people will, too. Will there be less players between patches? Maybe. But dead? No way.

Well, for myself, I don't have all that much spare time with my job, work from 7 to 5, come home, cook, clean and get ready for tomorow's work, and it's already 7. By then, I'm so tired I don't even want to play video games, leaving me like an hour a day to play. So it's hard to play multiple games, especially to juggle games like Skyrim that take you an entire hour just to look one dungeon. lol.

Honestly , I believe this is a test. I would not be suprised if the devs are just using this to learn the ropes for a much wider game to be released on the condition that this test proves a success. If you think about it from a business perspective, it's a smart move.

This is what I've often said. Nobody knew what the reaction to MP in the Mass Effect universe was going to be, and it was always a single player focused game, so pouring a lot of resources into the MP when it was such an unknown would have been a very risky business decision.

Now they know the reaction was overwhelmingly positive, and they can learn a lot from this iteration of it. I would imagine in ME4(Cause you know it'll happen) there will be a much more fleshed out MP mode.

Oh, and borderlands comes right up ME3 ally. The wave based combat from Moxi and all that looting. Oh yes.

winners in sales. Hitman and BL2 are also ones I'm getting. Hitman took too long to return. Hopefully Absolution redeems that.

ACIII and BL2 are defininets for me. I've been following AC since game one and it's been a blast to play something that requires more tempered paitence but mixes highspeed play really well. BL2 well... Explosives and more guns than you can give a real number below googolplex to. Need I say more.

The wild card for me is Dishonered. Considering how many features this game is advertised to have you know it's going to be buggy as **** but I can't say no to game that prioritizes vengence. "REVENGE SOLVES EVERYTHING" is my motto come Fall.

Can't speak for Hitman and RE6 but hope you guys enjoy them. After the disappointment that was Reach I may just borrow 4 from somebody, play the story, and hand it back. Hell ODST wasn't even worth sinking the money into.

ME3 multiplayer is like rock and roll. It'll never die!!! Besides, my Krogan clan love to start moshpits with Primes waaaaay too much to stop.

people who say ME3 will never die r kidding them selves. in my heart its all ready dead. hell i have not played for 5 days now. doubt the the weekend events will pull me back. Other people are just going out more sliently then me. i still look at the forums, but ill soon quit them too. BW killed the SP replay value and certain aspects of MP are causing the slow death of the rest of the game......

A fitting end imo, if it does die. This community has slowly devolved into whiners, entitled idiots, crybabies and ass kissers. I'm completely indifferent and detached from the outcome. But I've got front row tickets for the drama that will undoubtedly lead to it's downfall.

So far Borderlands 2 is the only thing that would draw me away. I gave up on Battlefield 3 when they decided to make $15 DLCs, I'm waiting for a GOTY edition of Skyrim rather than buying the individual DLCs, Halo 4 has a sneaking suspicion of sucking (to me at least), I don't care about the Hitman games, won't get Diablo 3 at this rate (even if they do make a console version) and I refuse to spend $60 on this years round of copy/paste crap that EA Sports puts out.

Oh GOD no. The Extended Cut better rock my world harder then Tali because if they don't give SOME sort of explination as to how life in the Galaxy continues without the Mass Relays I'm not touching ME4 even with a Bomb Squad defuser mech.

Time will eventually kill everything.

The ME3 MP was still a massive success however. The fact that we're comparing it to games like Battlfield 3, Diablo 3, or Borderlands 2 that were designed specifically to be multiplayer games is evidence of that.

Almost nobody has a game they play consistantly forever. They may come back to it every so often like I do for Half-Life, but they aren't playing it all the time forever.
