I'm using names of my characters from D&D, from WoW, sometimes when I feel like it I call QE "Tali", TSe "Garrus", Geth characters "Legion" etc.

You certainly did put quite effort into this 

You'd think so huh. Not that much though, just some names lying dormant in my brain that fit the characters. Picked most of them up from video games and shows actually.

I tried making up new names for characters but eventually ran out of them, so I just use the same ones for the same classes&races. Any Quarian I play is heretofore named Qwib-Qwib.

i still wish our character names would show up in the game........ e.g. have two names over the characters head - gamertag, character name.

No way....

My Pheonix Vanguard is named Whiplash.

My Geth Infiltrator is named 10100111001, which is 1337 (aka leet) in binary.

I expend a great deal of worry over naming--more than I should probably. The same could be said of their appearance. Anyway, here are four from pop culture...

Cerberus Adept: Judge Dredd (if you play around with the colors, you'd be surprised!). The Talon is his Lawgiver.

Geth: PEACE (Can anybody guess the red robot reference?)

Vorcha: Grishnak (from LotR)

Kroguard: Grond (also from LotR, and the reference seemed particularly apropos in his case)

I am not sure if i could support that ..the kind of names i give to my characters ..wouldnt want the world to see ..lol

Haha, this would be awesome - see only character name, the gamertag could be seen only in the "pause" menu (ESC).

Occasionally I name them like the GI - Legion, but 99 % I use the great variability of "swear words" and weird combinations of them with "normal words" - beautiful creations sometimes.

Having to name them is just a burden -- it serves no purpose.

I just name them the same thing every time I promote (in the <RACE/GENDER> <class> format).
