So what do you name your characters if you do at all?

Once I realised that names didn't matter, because other players couldn't view them, I just started numbering everyone. My Adepts are A1, A2, A3, Engineers are E1, E2...and so on.

Strangely, while I don't bother with names...most of my regular multiplayer characters have developed little stories in my head. Like, for example - I know my favourite adept is one of the first Asari to have a human 'father', born just after first contact with Earth. She's also one of the first non-humans to claim citizenship in the Systems Alliance and enlist in the Alliance military. Her boot camp buddies referred to her as a walking diplomatic incident.

This has lead to the joke, among my friends, that obviously A5 isn't her name - it's just her Alliance military vocation code. She hasn't made N7 yet.

My Salarian Infiltrator is called Jondum Bau after the spectre you meet in the SP, he has the same black armor with yellow stripes as well. He is pretty much my "main", I've always loved Salarians and I thought Jondum was awesome so I wanted to play as him. i've had him since the first week and only promoted him once or twice.
My Krogan Vanguard is called Urdnot Maul. After playing my SI for ages I fancied a change and what's more different to an SI than a KV?
When I run an Asari Adept/Justicar I usually call her Shiala after everyone's favourite green Asari.
My latest character is a bright pink Batarian soldier named B'awlls'ac. I have never been a fan of Batarians but I thought I'd give one a go because of this weekend's operation and I'm actually really enjoying playing him.
I've got a Vorcha Soldier too called Kulltuft, named after a character from a book. He is pretty fun to play with, I don't dare take him into gold though since I doubt my tactic of "melee everything" would work great there.

Etc.

My adepts are all something along the lines of <Character Nam

My engineers are named after various programming languages.
Human Male: Python (colored similarly to a snake as well)
Human Female: Java
Geth: C#
Female Quarian: Ruby

My infiltrators:
Salarian: Chameleon
Female Quarian: Echo
Male Quarian: Ghost

My Krogan soldier is Urdnot Wrok, which is the closest I get to an RP name.
I think my vorcha is MRAAW or something like that.
My Phoenix Vanguard is named Tony Stark.
I have a couple of Turians named WHAT and Big G.

My Asari Vanguard is Avina, for two reasons. The first one being obvious, that program on the Citadel is named Avina. The other is, before I started playing the ME franchise, I made my main character on Skyrim and named her Avina. It was named after some sort of hand lotion I had, called Aveeno, and I just changed it a little. So once I found Avina in ME2, I said "oh hey cool."

Other characters that I don't care about too much usually end up being something like 123, AAA, or HHH.
