So they finally found flashback images of all six other LIs in the game files? What does Miranda's look like?
I have no idea. At all. My knowledge ends at "it's a bug".

There's another baseless assumption.....my friend has never even Romanced her....he always goes with ME1: Ash, ME2: Miranda, ME3: Ash...
Yet he brings Liara on almost half the missions he goes on in ME1 and ME3......why? Because she's one of best squadmates to take into battle....in the ENTIRE series
Well then where did you hear that? Did they tweet it or something?Taboo-XX wrote...

Appears in your flashback even if you didn't romance her
Bad bug, yeah. I’ve been meaning to test the hush-hush that you can get it to work right with the appropriate vid files in appropriate locations (that is, not overriding Liara)… this’ll fortunately be fixed in the EC so that this ‘argument’ can be retired.
They confirmed it will be fixed in the EC?

My male Shepard was a vanguard and femshep was an adept, so I never had need of her. Ever. So her blue ass stayed on the Normandy for pretty much the entire series.Mcfly616 wrote...

errr... you guys tell that liara need a more screen time than other because she's not squad in ME2?
how about VS? they make appearance one time and player never saw them again. thus, they didn't
even had a special DLC or their comic series.
then in ME3, they just taken away from player after the first mission to make players can kill them
in citadel mission. yeah, great.

People ARE blaming the writers for the excessive screen time. But also, some people such as myself just genuinely don't like her character. And it's a shame because I didn't actually dislike her until ME3. I liked her in ME1 and was merely lukewarm to her in ME2/LotSB.Mcfly616 wrote...

Probably because the VS is such a nag? Lol who knows....
Honestly, a lot of things were lacking....A LOT.....I just find it funny that people blame all of it on Liara...only because she was one of the few things about the game that turned out well.....its quite pathetic...
As I said, I like every character....hell, there's moments in ME3 that hit me much harder than moments with Liara.....Tali's rock.....shooting bottles with Garrus.....talking to Ashley like she's a child because she's spinning drunk on the floor.....
It's pretty naive and juvenile to blame a well written character for the rest of the games shortcomings

And many people think she is one of the best written characters.
To the people who think she is Bioware's (or Mac Walters) pet...
Q: Do you, as a writer or a player, feel close to any of the characters?
Mac Walters: Having written Garrus in the first game, that’s a character I’ve always followed. I wrote him as well in the second game, but then handed him off in Mass Effect 3. It’s been fun to play through it as not the writer, and see where Garrus’ story went. Sometimes I have to pull the lead writer role and say, “That would never happen.”
Q.It’s good to be the king.
Mac Walters: Aria and the Illusive Man are two of my other favorite characters. I love them because of their moral ambiguity. Both of them have very clear goals, but you never know quite how to take them. They’re not obviously good or obviously bad.

And honestly, I don't think she's that well written at all. I think Wrex, Mordin, Tali, Garrus, and Thane were all much better-written characters than Liara. I've said it multiple times that Liara wouldn't be half as popular as she is if she weren't a perfect sex fantasy for male gamers.
