Exactly, when some Liara fapper in denial couldn't believe that his beloved Liara is actually disliked and tried to rig the votes, breaking the harmless little fun that everyone was having, and forcing the polls to stop. Typical brainwashed fan reaction. Only losers play dirty.

To be honest, I don't like that Tali wins these polls. I like her being the smart choice for smart people. Let others be the brainless mainstream.

And yes, Garrus is awesome by himself, without writers doing all they can to shove him up our asses, like it happens with Liara. What surprises me is that it works on a lot of  people.

I don't lose credibility to myself, which is what really matters. What brainwashed masses thinkof it is pretty irrelevant.

As I said ina previous post, if Tali was the mainstream choice I'd probably find her much less appealing. I want her to bea choice, not the one that a writer shoved up my ass and I ended up growing fond of without making my own choice.

What's wrong with some Talimancer and Liaramancer? Why do we have to fight ? My best friend is a Talimancer and we joke around a lot, he even asked me to make a scene with his custom Shep and Tali hugging on the Citadel and I'm happily do it for him.

On Garrus - Shepard says something like 'Garrus Vakarian?' instead of 'Garrus, is that you?'

With Garrus, if the greeting is different does that mean everything he has to say is diffferent? Like no talk about 'the good old days?

I actually didn't recruit Garrus on my main playthough in ME1 and in ME3 his dialogue is all inconsistant because of it. Some of it is different (talking to Tali in engineering and before earth comes to mind). But then other times he makes mention of Noveria, Feros and Ilos like he was there even though he wasn't...

Anyway Liara is awesome, for me personally it was hard to hate her especially in ME3 she was just too cute and nice lol. Garrus on the other hand i'm not his biggest fan...

I also wish I could come into a topic without someone else bashing another character (that isn't even the topic!) for no reason heh. Never gonna happen.

I'm not fighting if you refer to me.

Merely pointing out that Liara is the writer's pet, and is forced into people time after time. This is an undenable fact. Other characters can be better or worse, but they actually represent a choice. Garrus is pure awesome, Thane is more or less liked, and James is generally disliked, but people made their choice.

With Liara, you didn't make the choice, Mac Walters made it for you.

We don't. Liara is my LI, but Tali is my close friend/little sister.

I'm just not romantically attached to Tali. I love her character though.
