Thankfully there is still another goal to work towards without needing the luck to get one of the characters. But in an event that is supposed to build community, will a lot of players that don't have these characters get repeatedly kicked from games because everyone else is trying to get the Commendation Pack? Not even Bronze lobbies are safe.

It's not about wanting a handout or a free pack. It's about wanting at least a shot at accomplishing the goal.

I know world looks easier when you can reassure yourself that operations are planned by a half-wit, drolling Bioware employee that has no idea about anything and that Bioware's top priority is to break everything and ruin the game.

May i remind you of the squad goal a few weeks ago where you needed a FULL extraction on GOLD?
How many BRAND new players finished THAT mission you think?

If you can't ALWAYS make the squad goal, you can still help in the community goal.

If there is anyone who is having a hard time getting in to a lobby because they dont have one of these characters let me know.  I'm ReiOni on 360 and PC.  I do want a comm pack but I have friends I can do the goals with early on and then I will be playing for the rest of the weekend on anything.  It takes everyone else in the lobby voting to kick someone for them to be kicked.  If just 1 person doesnt vote to kick you, you wont be kicked.

As I said way back when this thread was still new, I have only ever recieved one commondation pack regardless of how many times I've completed the goal. Unless this is a glitch or bug, I can't imagine anyone who wants the pack enough to kick someone hasn't already earned the pack by noon on saturday. I can't see people booting you all weekend because you don't have a Krogan.

Oh, I will. It's just that whenever I visit the ME3 store, the clerk messes up my orders. I bought two Premium Spectre Packs today, and I clearly said "I'd like a Krogan, Vorcha or Batarian please." But instead the clerk gave me another Quarian and some weapons. >:-|
You know how it is, with the damn "no refunds after the clerk has given you your pack"-policy.

Ah, well. I just hope he gets the order right tomorrow.

I won't be kicking anyone unless the rest of the group does first though. I can go solo bronze/silver and I probably will a few times a day just to be sure, any pugs with me on pc and I won't be the first to kick =P.

Also we need a trading system. This would benefit everyone regardless how new or old players they are.

What's this silly idea of "not playing enough"? I have played at least 60 hours of multiplayer since I started in early April, and I still don't have these characters. Now why is that? It's because other than Recruit and Veteran Packs, I've only bought 5 or 6 Premium Spectre Packs and 1 Spectre Pack. Looking back, I would've instead bought Spectre Packs to try to get new species.
But how was I to know that I would need a Rare character for an operation in the future? I've only focused on getting the lower rank weapons to satisfy my kleptomania and to get some good starting weapons before I start fumbling with the expensive and exotic stuff. Until recently that is, when I started to buy PSP's since the Rare stuff started to intrigue me (I love my new Geth Infiltrator and my Claymore).

So the issue isn't that "I haven't played enough".
It's not even "I haven't played right".
It's "I didn't guess right."

Take this piece of information back to your flotilla, and stay there. We don't want your kind here in Citadel Space!

This weekend can be completed on any difficulty, even bronze.

The drop rates for the new DLC characters are rather low. I managed to get more Ultra Rares than the new DLC characters these past 3 weeks. Just managed to unlock the Vorcha Soldier and Quarian Male Infiltrator yesterday after 2 Gold and 2 silver games (2 PSP packs). So now I have completely unlocked all my characters.
