Don't rush Bioware for EC. Longer it takes, the better.

Also, please cite your source where you found that the majority of people between 25 and 30 liked Mass Effect 3's ending. You often fail to cite sources in your other posts, so I'd like to see you do it now.

Greece yes France no, hint 2 are in bailouts. And the 1 isn't Ireland.
My point is that Bioware has long supported LGBT in it's games and that there should be a to link any recent stock problems is nonsense. The city of London would at least of heard the BBC's view of it. Before we get the thread locked I'll just say that perception wise the EC isn't seen as "planned" but a CYA exercise.
As to Origin my point is that it will give Bioware the facts. Not slanted in anyway as the user can't make it do anything, it will report the data to Bioware for them to interreupt. I don't see how that can be debated.
My point and it is my point is that if that data suported your arguement that it was a small minority don't you think that Bioware would have that in the public domain?
Bioware has showed a lot of support, but Bioware wasn't know to the media until the whole "hardcore sex" from Fox News with ME1. The CE was planned while we probably won't know how much, but I guess at this point we should agree to disagree.
The feedback from Origin isn't that reliable especially when a good amount of them aren't constructive or truthful.
Contraversies will always cause problems whether its a small one with ME3's ending or illegal wars as abig contraversy. Pretty much Bioware saw an opportunity to break some ground by giving a false victory to a group of people.
France's GDP and GNP are close Ireland's isn't the long run for Ireland relies on the Global economy, France doesn't need to.
Yes the Fake News could have elevated it but it's there to see. Put another way if people were concerned about the mild sex they could (and for professional investors with "concerned clients" they would have) looked further and seen the history of Bioware. I can't see this coming out of the blue to affect EA now.
I'm not sure what you're saying about the feedback from Origin. There's no user interface with the Origin program accept for playing ME3. The feedback is automatic from the pc, I dont see how personnal bias can interfere with that.

Game Contraversies are common place especially when Fox News and a couple others pick 2-3 titles to overreact on. I'm still surprised that violence is mainly okay while a small amount of nudity is a problem, but that could be coming from the misconception of all video games being for kids.
I'm saying that the Origin feedback can be a double-edged sword just like any other poll since some people will lie or a provide nasty "letter" while a contraversary of any kind isn't helpful whether for a good or bad reason. I just wanted to clarify that I wasn't talking about Origin as an interface.

Most of the game contraversies are small especially when it comes down to fans like how it happened with Halo: Reach, ME3, Deus EX: Human Revolution, MGS4, FF13-2, Dark Souls, and Street Fighter x Tekken. Nothing is perfect and nobody should expect perfection either.ThaneKriosIsBoss wrote...
Blueprotoss, don't you think it's a little too consistent to be a coincidence when the vast majority of people on this forum disagree with you on 80% of what you say? Maybe it has something to do with your knack of insulting others at the slightest provocation, or maybe its your very controversial (and frankly, ridiculous) opinions.
Its ironic that you ask me for a cite not the other user while I have no reason to lie here whether or not I liked/hated or right/wrong about something.ThaneKriosIsBoss wrote...

Why do you think DA2 and ME3 felt so incomplete?
If Bioware is taking time to make EC you should be appreciative of the fact they are putting proper efforts on free product and you should be more patient, too.
It's the law that investment and results are in direct proportion. The longer it takes, more complete it is going to be. Why you are even trying to put pressure on Bioware is beyond me. You wanted a better ending, and it will only get better if you exercise some sensible patience on the matter.
Sooo.....What's Diablo 3's excuse? I know, I know, not relevant. If there is a point to be made, its that Developers are getting lazy in regards to the emphasis of quality and instead trading quality for profit.
Just my take. The only way to fix the abomination that is the current ending would be to remove it entirely. This proposed ending DLC is nothing more than an explanation to what has already transpired within the ME3 universe. Its an excuse and nothing more.
This is not to say that I don't hold some amount of hope for resolve, because I do.
Consumers wanted a proper ending the first time around. The fact that BioWare is fixing it, is their problem. We all paid for a product based on guarantees. Again, its not the consumers fault for this. BioWare made a bad call and needs to deal with the fact that they pissed off a large portion of their fan-base. Punishing your consumers due to your mistake is just bad business ethic.
I think its funny how the same people who are pissing and moaning about those of us who are upset with the endings have all gone through a McDonalds drive through and went ape-**** when their order wasn't handled properly.

I personally don't really mind when the EC is released within reason. While I'm not a fan of the ending I was happy when it was announced that it wouldn't be changed,.
After seeing the speculation that went into the tweets from Mike Gamble I'm not surprised Bioware is keeping quiet about any progress being made on anything they're working on.

I have high hopes.I have faith. And i believe Bioware can deliver. What i do not understand is how a wonderful game like ME3 can be finished polished and unsleashed in 24 months but the EC takes over 3-4-5? months...I know the amount of people, time dedicated to it etc but still...

They have to pander just the right amount to the various sub-groups of fandom, not overdoing it or under-do-ing it.
Going to be fun to watch.
