Can I merge my PS3 profile with the PC version of ME3?

Sorry if this is in the wrong place, I had a look around but couldn't find anywhere more appropriate.

I've never played games on a PC before, but will be getting a new laptop tomorrow and fancy trying ME3 on it.  Apparently you have to run it via Origin, which sounds fine, but I'm wondering if I can log in with my current EA/Origin/BW account?  And if I do, will the game recognise my achievements (made on PS3) to date?

I'm guessing I'll be starting from scratch, but just thought I'd check in case there's a way I can make it work.

Thanks for any advice!

No as the PS3 trophies are Sony specific

You can see your progress for each platform you registered the game for under your profile My Games -> Mass Effect 3 (insert platform name) on this forum.

Hope that helps.

You're Readiness percentage carries over if it's like going from 360 to PC.

But your N7 ranking in MP will not carry over.

Basically if you have 85% readiness because of playing MP on one platform, when you go to the other platform it will also be 85% even if you never played MP on platform #2.

Also any promotions from MP to SP you did will carryover as well.

Again, I'm going by my experience with 360 and PC. Now achievements won't carry over and must be re-earned so to speak.

Thanks, that's really useful. Not really played SP so may do that on the laptop and continue my MP career on the PS3.

Thanks again!

The N7 Special Ops Team War Asset says 750 on the PS3 version and the same on the 360 version.

That is not the same as the N7 Rank right?

GRR% carries over from PS3 to 360 too - it's tied to your EA/Origin account I believe.

Your N7 rank is the odd number by your name. My N7 rank on PC is almost 700 but on the 360 it's like 12 and those 12 are because of unlocked characters gave me levels. I've never done an actual match on the 360 but got levels because of weekend event unlock boxes. Basically, N7 is your levels you earned plus each promotion gives you 10 I think.  I know promotions add to your N7 rank but not 100% positive it's 10 points. And N7 rank is only used on the leaderboard(s).

Also the boxes that get unlocked for everyone carries over between the platforms but I think -- and I'm again not 100% sure -- but weekend events solo boxes you earn do not carry over between the two. But if you're just MP'ing on one platform anyhow and just want the war assets and readiness percentage on the other, no big loss.

Your Galaxy At War carries over but each system has different stuff unlocked it would be nice to have all my PS3 unlocks on PC but alas Bio made it not so. I own both PS3 and PC and its the only thing that carries over is the GAW!
