The body is basically designed to be a Terminator anyway. Maybe more focused on infiltration but you know what I mean. Make the body more robotic/cyborg but keep the face human. You can even keep the breasts that way.

If there had to be a body, I would've gone for something like the Phantasy Star Hucaseal.
Now, yes they are similar. Also, high heels, but robot so whatever. However the notable differences are no cameltoe, no excess boobage, an overall look that gives the appearance of an actual fighter and no creepy face.

i really with there was a conversation option for Shepard to have her put on a regulation uniform. You know to help Joker focus.

Good idea, nothing's a turn off quite like those new ridiculously top heavy duty shirts from hell.

Yes Mr. Casey. Everyone knows about the connection to Fritz Land's Metropolis.

I can understand the body/look because of where it came from. Her alternate should've been default though.

As far as sexualization is concerned, my biggest gripe is that they should've just left Ashley alone, but that's all been said before.

I really, really like creepy slim eyeless EDI (concept art on the bottom right of the artbook page). However, I would have personally preferred something androgynous and while obviously human-shaped, also combat-oriented

I think she would have looked just dandy as a holographic blue orb thing.

I want her to look like Dr. Eva before she was toast.

Thinking about it, I believe that not only did they over-sexualise her, they also went overboard with the retro. Look at that head. She looks more in place in the Fallout world rather than Mass Effect.

Her body looked fine in ME2. Had some nice sleek figure and i actually liked the Cerberus themed paint job.... Did i just sounded like Joker?

I really disliked EDI in ME3 she was better off as a ship but nope instead of putting some one we wanted we got her.

Considering the ending and the "Fallout in space" theme they we're going for I guess she will fit right in then in the "brave new world" Bioware created for Mass Effect Posted Image

R2-D2! Sexiest trash can in the galaxy!

Or

As Taboo suggested, just create a model of Tricia Helfer.

I think that alot of the over-sexualizing issue could have been smoothed over by just having EDI put some actual clothes on.

EDI's either naked or in a skin tight catsuit. If you really want to reinforce the "she's part of the crew like everyone else" idea, then give her the same uniform as everyone else.

To me, an android that is designed as an infiltration unit should be unobtrusive and nondescript. It should NOT look like a hot chick. It should look like an elderly person or a small child, most people ignore small children and the elderly, but everyone, male and female alike, stares at and scrutinizes attractive women and men. Making an infiltration unit an exaggerated version of an attractive woman makes it that much more likely to be detected.

If I was designing an android or a gynoid to infiltrate a base like the Mars ruins, I would make it look like a mid-level scientist on the staff, then kidnap that scientist and replace him/her. I would make certain that the scientist in question was not particularly well-liked, to minimize the likelihood that people would notice a change in his/her behavior after the switch.

But a sex robot that looks like a stripper from Chora's Den? No.

Halfway through the series, Voyager introduced Seven, an ex-Borg drone who was trying to be human again and they wanted to make feel part of the crew.
Naturally they did this by putting her in a skin tight catsuit and high heels for the entire run. The early catsuits even had visible corsets.

I can't shake the feeling that in the minds of certain designers, "female infiltrator" translated to "lots and lots of sex".

I didn't mind the look, though on missions I did have to put her in an outfit because it was bothering me a bit (though now that I've had the ****** thing pointed out, I don't think I'll even take her on missions anymore).

I did always wonder why they didn't have the holo-visor change back to the blue color it originally had when Eva first reveals herself to be a synthetic. I thought it would have fit EDI's original ME2 incarnation a little bit. Blue > orange.
