Did Quentin cut off Leandra's head and sew it into his wife's body?

You don't find the idea of him carving her face off and sewing it onto another woman's skull, all while supposedly using blood magic to keep her alive and feeling every second of it, more distrubing than a comparatively clean cut along the neck?

Not particularly. The whole deal creeps me out; the notion that her face may have been removed is no less disturbing than the idea that her whole head was taken off and attached to another body.

In fact, I think it's worse that he took her entire head. That flesh golem had Leandra's brain, preserved by Quentin's magic, and that means Hawke's mother was completely aware of what had happened to her… and what he would do to her. Do you get my drift?

This brings up an interesting question for me actually... If you choose a dark skinned Hawke whose mother is also dark skinned, does the body of his 'wife' still appear as light skinned? Like a dark skinned head on a white woman's body?

I believe the portrait of his wife remains the same no matter the variables of Leandra's skin tones and facial structure. I noticed this a bit back and that's why I'll never play a custom Hawke that will change her default appearance (assuming I pop DA2 in again at some point). I'm funny like that.

You never play anything but the default family because of some random low poly painting on a wall, in an area you only visit once.

Lol but the painting on the wall doesn't look anything like default Hawke's mum either.
