If you like her, you'll have a whole lot of interesting time in the game.

Liara gets the best role, is most important, is constant showing up...ect.
This conflicted me for awhile, now it's simply got annoying. I get annoyed at Bioware's clear favouritism for her, and it just makes it worst because they don't give the rest what they deserve. It seems to me that Liara always has to have something "special" or "extra" which puts her above all the others. The fact, that's she's always there, offering you her support or comfort, and yet the other character that I wanted to talk is a mute in the other room.
I decided Ashley was the one for my Shepard long ago. Gotta stick with it, no matter how many times BW push Liara on me. I'll stick to my Shepard is, and who he decided on in ME1.
But if you're asking what's better about hers? More spotlight -- Yeah, she'll show up all the time.

Ive been an avid Mass Effect player since the first one came out Ive always been a male shpe who romanced Ashley but after LotSB I tired a Liara romance but was more about Ashley after the fact I guess its because im not another Capt. Kirk romancing blue chicks (sorry for the Trek reference) but after ME3 and it almost seems like Liara is a cannon romance option I might wanna try it again im wondering what are the best parts about romancing Liara
The best part is that you get to play out a romance with a character you like. If you do, that is. Just like every other character…
I don’t really understand what the downside here is. If you want to try it, go for it! If not, don’t. Are you trying to optimize your time usage or something…?
…
Oh, and you do get to enjoy the most tired, addle-brained, misdirected, and bitter trolling on these forums.

At least Liara got a good fan service, but I've steadily become creeped out by her over time.

I loved ME1 Ash, but all that whining got on my nerves in ME3. Lack of content didn't help either, nor the diversity of said content. Again its all about her sister and father. As with Miranda, she seems to be stuck in a loop where the writers gave up adding to her character.

Thats another problem even if you romanced her in ME1 and stayed faithful to her in ME2 you still had to bend over backwars for her in ME3 I mean if u ask me she shouldve been begging ME to take her back WTF , she didnt trust me all of ME3 after all I did

The way I see Mass Effect is that you have to bend over backwards for everybody in some way or another. That's basically what ME2 was all about. Could you be more specific? I didn't get that feeling with Ash in ME3, but I honestly did get the feeling that the romance wasn't being addressed correctly. But all around, there were bigger things going on than Shepard and Ashley -- and they both knew it.
If she survives the coup, I don’t know how people can say there’s no trust there.
If Ashley begged for a man to take her back, yeah that would be OOC for me. She’s clearly happy to be back with Shepard, that’s good enough for me.
Just my opinion.

If she survived the coup and turned her gun on Udina....geuss what buddy, she trusted you and your Shepard. So don't say "she didn't trust me all of ME3 after all I did," since its wrong. Its so utterly annoying when I see people say that she doesn't trust Shepard throughout ME3. Doesn't she want to re-join Shepard on the Normandy? Thats trust right there. If she doesn't trust Shepard, she dies during that coup scene. Simple as that.

I have a MShep that romanced Ash and a FShep that romanced Liara. Wouldn't trade one for the other ... but I don't have to. Neither do you. Just have two Shepards.
Problem solved!

Liara isn't off the Normandy for half of ME3, has more scenes and dialogue (much of which isn't romance-specific, unfortunately), and is nude during her love scene instead of wearing underwear like every other.
'sall 'bout the nudes!

But really Liara is smart and she has a thousand years. Don't worry, just choose the one you like, or make 2 Shepard.
