[Wise Men]

This just makes me want to go start another Shepard and play all the way through once more.  I loved the ending I got and enjoyed all three games.  All the excitement of the realease of the extended cut might just make me put down Skyrim for a while and roll a new Shep from Mass Effect 1!

Got to bed now, wake up, get to work, finish at 16:00h, get home, enjoy great dinner, open bottle of nice brew, download EC, play, enjoy LI reunion, dance like Legion in this one:

So, could it PLEASE be like that? I don't wanna be angry and/or disappointed again, I wanna be friends with BW again, shove my Euros up their ***** and get great entertainment. I'd be contented as good as it gets.

But PLEASE don't let it be a mess, okay? Good, I'll hold you to that. Just about 21 hours to go...

Aww, us PC gamers will have to wait until roughtly 2 p.m. Eastern Time. That's a shame, I have work soon after and the download will take at least an hour on my slow internet.

Apologies if this has been answered, but will the EC work if I simply load a save before Cerberus HQ? Or does it have to be the autosave after you beat the game?

What save game should I load to play the Extended Cut?

[SPOILERS] After completing Mass Effect 3, a 'Legend' save is created prior to assaulting the Cerberus Base. To experience the Extended Cut DLC, load this save game and play through to the end of the game. The Extended Cut endings will differ depending on choices made throughout the Mass Effect series, so multiple playthroughs with a variety of different decisions will be required to experience the variety of possibilities offered by the new content.

Does this mean that I have to first complete the game with each different Shepard I have and watch the original ending before I get to see the extended ending?

No, but I agree it's a little confusing.  Only players who already completed the game need to worry about the autosave/legendsave thing.  If you haven't started the Priority: Cerberus Headquarters mission yet, you're fine.

do people not realize what time the ec comes out is up to Microsoft,Sony and Origin not BIOWARE the microsoft marketplace updates in 2 to 3 hours the sony marketplace updates later in the day and origin updates at Noon
