but how does having one class more powerful then another, which is subjective, effect continuity of the game? You win games make money buy your packs, that's all multiplayer is, yes its very fun but those are its core elementsPoulpor wrote...

And who said they're taking cloak away? Rebalancing it by changing the damage bonus or duration doesn't mean they are taking the power away, jeez.
Infiltrator is my favorite class and I absolutely have no problem with Tactical Cloak being rebalanced.

My one and only thing I would do to change it is to increase the duration for the rank 4 power evolutions. It's only 3 seconds. It can make a lot of difference sometimes, but it's the one and only upgrade to duration you can get, when there's several damage buffs.

Because I see a progression towards the infiltrators .. early everyone played the soldier thinking he was as strong as in ME2, in the end everyone realize that infiltrator = easy money. therefore lobbies gold to become 50% infiltrators and Multiplayer have 6 classes .
I do not often to get synergy between Justiciar - Krogan or many other things. the game become boring

They want to break the infiltrator.
There is nothing wrong with the class, and changing it dramatically will ruin the game.
I score over 100k with engineers all the time, it is not impossible. Infiltrators, if and when nerfed, won't be able to lay down the stopping power needed to be viable on gold, as it is, I think guns are way underpowered for all classes.
If you want to do something about TC and Infiltrators being on top of the score board, then buff AS, SMG, Shotguns and Pistols for the other classes.

And give us back the old Hunter Mode, it's the only thing that made my GE "Soldier" build worthwhile (and here I thought Bioware wanted as much diversity as possible in that regard, hence all this balancing of the game and whatnot, they say it but they often don't seem to act like it's true....)

Somehow, I think changing 1 power out of 90 on 1 class out of 6 isn't really going to ruin the game. Unless of course the only reason you play this game is because your Geth Infiltrator can take out a banshee in three shots, then yes, the game will be ruined.

I rarely use my GI, I use a HI, and a Valiant at that, not one of the big anti-materiel rifles. This nerf is going to break my build more than you let on. Only Snipers using OP GI Hunter mode with a geth sniper rifle are problematic, or infiltrators using claymores.
All the smaller rifles will be made useless, the nerf will never be big enough to satisfy the nerf crowd and the reasonable infiltrators are going to be the ones to suffer.
Not to mention you totally ignoring that I use Engineer to get similar results often.

Also I would expect 25 percent infiltrators overall. Every group should have one for objectives unless your running a group of biotic who combo together

Perfect example of why it should not be nerfed, this isn't about game balance, its a public execution of a character class because people are getting annoyed that they aren't apparently doing as well as the infiltrators.
All stupid reasons to break the class.

Actually almost everyone that I've seen play a decent infiltrator use TC, as you put it, tactically; getting by the enemy unseen, rezzing teammates, capping objectives, also flanking the enemy, getting in oportuned spots. Basically we all use any and every damaging/debuffing power we have at our adavantage to kill the enemies efficiently as possible. Whether it be sitting in cover spamming said power, or as in infiltrators TC, or doing it on the move. TC is not just meant for infiltrators to just run around hiding everywhere but its also for Critical damage, thus its why it take the high bonus damage to skills and weapons. And gutting the damage bonus just means that as an infiltrator, using your cloak to "tactically" kill your target takes a less damage and therefore more hits and essentially longer to be effective. And if you feel as an infiltrator you kill to good and so you need to take less damage and take longer time killing stuff or your friends or that random guy in your PUG game need to take less damage and take longer to kill something then, you know, be less effective, by all means thats your opinion/perogative and I can't fault you for it.Felhammer wrote...

This. Even if they gut the damage bonus, TC would still be a great power. Maybe you could learn to use it in ways that are, I dunno... tactical?
Its just that not all of us like whips and chains and handcuffs to make things we enjoy...fun.
