I don't think BW is going to ****** off 1/3 of it's gold players by completely breaking the infiltrator....i would think they have a bit more sense than that. Hopefully they are just looking at TC because it affects grenades and all weapons. TC should only give bonuses to sniper rifles and melee...imo. That doesn't solve the Krysae+TC=godmode issue, but that has more to do with the Krysae being a heavy weapon labeled a sniper rifle than TC.

I really doubt it.

If the Infiltrator's monopoly on Gold was the only thing keeping a player in this game, chances are that they weren't going to be playing much longer anyway. And I'd be willing to bet that 95% of the people on this forum who keep saying "if they change tactical cloak AT ALL then I quit" are just a bunch of bluffers.

At the most, they'll just stop using the forums so we can't call them liars to their faces. And they'll keep playing the game.

I really think the only TC nerf that can be done to matter is reducing the damage bonus, somewhat. Problem is, TC will always be useful not because of the damage bonus, but because of the ability to not be seen. You reduce the time on that and I think you'll just get the majority of your player base pissed off. All to make a minority who mostly scream and whine happier.

Really, nerfing the TC in any way is already running that risk, including the damage. Go for it, BW, if you think caving into the crying is going to help. Personally, I think it won't at all. But hey, it isn't my risk to take.

The will be probably decrease the damage bonus by 15-20% they won't touch the duration because that's not where they saw the problem

i want every enemies to be buffed
every soldier / engineer / adept / vanguard / sentinel to be buffed acordingly
and the tactical cloack being left untouch

fun aside, im all for game balance so every class has the same potential
and infiltrator / TC breaks that right now
im for the nerf

Not official though is it, might wanna change that, plus I can't wait for the nerf then hopefully I don't have to play games with 2 or 3 infiltrator's on one team.

Most ppl consider nerf a noticeable decrease in power or weapon damage

It is a shame that bioware does not look at the underlying problem. The reason why gamers have to farm and always use powerful classes. If it were easier to get enough credits. People wouldnt have to farm or use powerful classes in order to get through games quickly and easily.

Right now most gamers are driven by a desire to collect weapons. What is the most fastest easiest way to go about doing that? Play as an infiltrator and and farm firebase white.
