Ok ill start by adding atleast a somewhat weird build from each class and explanation why it works out for me. Feel free to add yours.  Also when i say the viability of the class, it basically means how comfortable i am at using it at said difficulty level.

Adept: Phoenix. Designation fisherman.
6/0/6/6/6 Yup, no smash, i use a res. card every time i do this.
Weapon selection: medium weight shotgun or talon.

How do i use it? go for the maximum area singularity with the DoT evolution in lv5.
place the singularity in a good spot where you think you can fling your monkeez with the lash.
Start lashing :D
or if no such place around. do some duck hunting, lash em up and try to drop em before they hit the ground. or for extra hilarity, try to lash em so high you can put a singularity on their ass before they drop down. you can have so much fun with this.
As for lash evolutions, i prefer the dot and vs. shielded targets.

Viability:
-Bronze►Great
-Silver►Good
-Gold►Not recommended, but still hell of lot fun.

Soldier: Human. Designation John Rambo.

6/0/6/6/6

Yup no conc shot spam.. You wount have time for it.
Weapon selection; Any of the following which pleases you most. Revenant, Phaeston, GPR, GPsmg, Hurricane. I suggest you use clip extension as one of the mods for the ARs and atleast heatshink with SMG's

The point of the build? To remake all the famous machinegun scenes from hollywood movies, mainly made famous by rambo movies and the movie called commando. AR is the key, and you can take either the 20% extra damage or 40% damage reduction which ever you want, as long as you take the melee damage, and shield recharge at lv6. You know ;D for that extra burst of vigor when you get mad ^_^. If used correctly this build will allow you to make your whole ammo amount, into a single clip. you can keep on shooting and keep on shooting and keep on shooting till it says click. and what is important, you can keep on moving :)

Viability:
-Bronze►Excellent
-Silver►Great
-Gold►Great, but caution is adviced.

Engineer: Geth. Designation. MeDick.

6/5/6/6/3

Use it on the next match, after a match where your team spent more time moaning about something you did to help them out. Spec your turret for heals on lv4 and 5, flamer on lv6. Overload for CC
weapon selection: Something light, fast fire rate and with piercing mod available(for the armor damage, you will need it sooner or later) I prefer the eagle, as i dont have a problem using it, i take the weapon for what it is, a machine pistol. But it also has an added bonus of some people moaning about it.

Point of the build. stay separate from your team, and keep the turret close by, but somewhere in your flank, to decloak/reveal dem nasties trying to come at you from behind. use the rapid fire but light weapon to spread some disruptor ammo love and couple it with your CC overload. You will do a decent support job with it, and you will be usually the last one standing, giving you a valid point to present your team each and everytime they decide to moan again. And othervise, i use it to just take it easy :) its a build that requires little work to begin with.

Viability
-Bronze►Excellent
-Silver►Excellent
-Gold►Excellent, Campers will love you, Bring your own sausages.

Sentinel:Vorcha. Designation. The one who got tired of running.

6/6/0/6/6 Did not feel the need for cluster nades.
Weapon choices: I usually prefer to snipe without a scope, so... Saber or Crusader. for those days when i feel like staring through the scope. Valiant or kishock.

The point of this build... theres no point really. you just spec your bloodlust for hp regen and weapon damage and snipe things, since i got bored of running after my kills. Flamer is for those nasties that get close to you, also your more likely to survive as the other snipers, your health regening and all. Also its nice to play pranks on other vorcha in the team with this ;D or just plain sit in a sniper nest if you dont feel like giving the game your 100%(you know... that last game late at the night)

Viability:
-Bronze►Excellent
-Silver►Great
-Gold►poor to ok, depending on the overall team composition.

Infiltrator: Human.Designation. Hungry Hungry Hungry Hippo.

4/6/6/6/4
Weapon choices: Crusader or sabre, usually crusader(people seem to have a problem with this gun, i personally dont o_O. Go figure...)

Point of this build. is anti armor. IT is a rather normal anti armor build. i spec the nades full damage and anti armor, and at lv6 as mines. but i roll with heavy iron sighted sniper rifles, rather than scoped ones. i like to see around myself, some people seem to have a problem with this, or someone else using it. i still hear atleast once every three games someone moaning about me using the gun. But anyway. point being, cryo blast for CC and easy headshots, and for anti armor, CB+nades. cant go wrong with that :)

Viability:
-Bronze►Great
-Silver►Great
-Gold►Ok, but the long CD on cloak demands an agressive play style with it.

Vanguard: Asari. Designation. Bubblewrap popping.

6/6/5/6/3
Weapon choices: Medium weight AR or talon or carnifex.

i take the CD = 0 sec. chance evolutions on charge and buble. The point of the build. People usually use this or similar build to snipe. i prefer the role of fire support. Lay down a buble in the path, and start laying down some lead with your gun. if theres a crowd at the buble and some poor sob is stuck there, lob a grenade, or if its close by, Use the charge. I think this build is the least weird of all the ones i listed. I think the weapon preference is where it differs the most.

Viability:
-Bronze►Great
-Silver►Great
-Gold►Great, if i remember to be conservative with my charge<_<

How is a 6/0/6/6/6 Human AR build a "weird build" persay? High recharge rate on AR with a good Assault Rifle (in my case Cerb Harrier) = DPS Tank on Gold. You can outscore Krysae Infiltrators on non-Glacier maps. Hell you can Fire Explosion off your own Frags with Incendiary Ammo and Frags by themselves do some seriously high damage when you spec them out correctly. Who the Hell for that matter spams Concussive Shot thinking it's effective? The only way to build an effective Human Soldier is pure AR with Frags.

its the way and reason why i use it. And there are alot of people spamming conc. it is a fast damage dealer. Also i dont use AR in that case how people usually use with HS. slow firing weapon given double capacity. My aim was to recreate the spirit of never ending full auto fire from the 80s and 90s movies ;D but hey, you would have known that if you had actually read it.

Edit: also saying that only one way of making something is an effective way of doing something, is rather narrowminded. Something that works for someone may not work well for some other guy.

If we look at "weird" in the sense that it's not the norm, then yes, it's a weird build. It's a good build, too; the only way I would build my Human Soldier, that's for sure.

Drellguard:

Biotic Charge: Area/Weapon/Shields
Pull: Area/Expose/Detonation+Duration
Passive: Power+Weight/Powers/Weap Damage
Fitness: Melee/Shield Recharge/Fitness Expert

No nades as a drell, weird right? I got fed up with scrounging around for stupid nades. Also, this allows for a crazy charge + kung fu and more bruce lee flips and stuff

Drell vanguard specced full melee fitness, full charge with barrier regen, full cluster grenade damage, full passives with power / power / weapon damage, and no pull. Uses melee to kill unarmored targets that are not grouped up. Works on gold. Light melee staggers any unarmored target, including phantoms.

People tend to question my...competence...when showing up with my cloakless GI wielding nothing but a talon. He's a monster on bronze, a solid performer on silver, and a good support member on gold.

Vorcha Soldier with Carnage

I went 6/6/6/4/4 build and armed with a Carnifex IX. I have 200% cooldown.

People in random lobbies usually go WTF when I use this character but they tend to shut up about it after a game. Keep bloodlust activated at all times. Shoot Carnage and gun when facing Geth Primes or Atlas or Phantoms. Better damage them from a distance than to risk flamer them at point blank only to be insta-killed or stunlocked.

I always fire a carnage shot first at a distant target then bum-rush him. By the time I get close, I get to use the flamer. In group hack missions, I just stay in the circle and spam carnage.

I will usually outscore every other Vorcha Soldier/Sentinel out there with this build even on Gold as the Flamer is near useless on Gold in later waves unless you want to bleed out often.

I use a similar build, but with Evi X :) sometimes with Talon 3

I'm playing Phoenix Vanguard without Lash, just max everything else out, pop Smash for biotic explosions, Charge for full Barrier restoration, Fitness for shields/hp and Phoenix for weight reduction and power damage. Using only Carnifex V.

It's simple when enemy is at range I snipe them with pistol, when they are closing in I take a spot behind a wall and start Smashing like crazy untill the wall bleeds.

I liked Lash for picking Guardian's shields like toys but meh. I somehow don't like the idea of playing phoenix as a guy standing in cover and throwing blue balls at people.

SHOCKWAVE VANGUARD POWEEEEEERRRRRRRRR!!!!!

Charge: rank 6 area/power synergy/barrier
SHOCKWAVE OF AWESOME: FORCE/DETONATE/LIFTING
Nova: damage/recharge/sustain
Alliance training: power damage/power damage

Nova recharge stacks so spam it up before the wave starts. Lift SHOCKWAVE + Nova FOR GREAT JUSTICE. Take advantage of Nova sustains to get SHOCKWAVES in after a charge.

WUB WUB WUB OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

EDIT: http://narida.pytalh...50RLLIDM9@0AE@@

Oh man those fishermen phoenix are great. I've got to the point where I can do the same thing with throw and, using the asari adept, it's just so entertaining.

Fair enough, but surely first 3 cloak points would be better than last evo for proxy mine?

I can understand making builds that are slightly different if they offer something worth it, but this doesn't make much sense to me.

If it's simply you having fun attempting no cloak, then fair play.

Yeah drell guard is pretty awesome on bronze.

Pretty much pull +biotic charge kills anything without shields, barriers or armor. If they are, just charge and instantly melee and back flip away. For some reason drell melee's are extremely responsive compared to other classes.

I got a Cerberus Harrier and have been playing my Soldier Rambo style since - I've never used concussive shot, though. I basically kept Adrenaline Rush up constantly. Have to stand next to an ammo box, heh ...

I tried to make two not too commonly seen Salarian Engineer builds which are viable on Gold.

Here is my "Salarian Soldier" build.

I tried to go for maximal survivability. It's not a power dependant class, though Energy Drain helps a lot in surviving, and Decoy is really effective against Phantoms.
It works perfectly in close quarters combat, but it's decimating in long ranges also if you can do headshots. It uses two weapons, the Valiant II and the Mattock X.
With a Power Efficiency module, the power recharge times are reasonable (~4,5 seconds).
narida.pytalhost.com/me3/classes/#22LKARRl1F9IDUG

The second class is more like a support class, as it relies on mid-long range combat and it sets up fire explosions which can be detonated relatively easily with teamwork. It uses only one weapon, a Falcon X equipped with Incendiary ammo.
Shoot the enemies with the Falcon, they start burning, hit them with Energy Drain => lots of fire explosions for everyone.
It is Gold viable with a good team, and it really shines on Silver.

Noob Toob.

A class that turns Phantoms into stumbling weeds.

Human Male Soldier.

Primary Weapon
Falcon X

Near Perfect stun chance on anything but bosses + aoe = Perfect Crowd Controller and Perfect match for this Character.

Secondary Weapon
None

None needed.

Adrenaline Rush 6
Hardening / Duration / Shield Boost

I use this only when i lose shields or get cornered and need to relocate.

Concussive Shot 6
Radius / Recharge Speed / Shredder

Spamed at each cooldown. even if a enemy trys to dodge it the aoe gets them and the Impact stuns or sends them flying.

Frag Grenade 6

Damage / Max Grenades / Armor Pericing

For doing quick damage to a larger group. AP lets it do several bars of damage to bosses.

Alliance Training 6

Damage & Capacity / Power Damage / Weapon Weight

Maxes out the ability to spam Concussive shot by maxing carry weight and increasing the damage of Concussive shot and Frag Grenades.

Fitness 0

I almost never get shot unless its from behind. everything in front is typically stunlocked and cant do anything to me.

how to use, when its useful

this character is AMAZING vs Cerberus even on gold. It is in fact intended for use on gold so its where i often use it. when people dont try to boot the Human Soldier i typically outscore most players in gold..

but its scoring ability is not its highlight. in fact the DPS is quite low against single targets..

it SHINES LIKE THE FREAKING SUN IN CROWDCONTROL.

it can STUNLOCK at a constant rate better than any weapon class combonation including the Krysae. Even the annoying Phantoms end up either stunlocked or trying to block Concussive shot with their shields untill they die.

i can factually stroll up to groups of 2+ phantoms without fear of death because all they can do in response to this guy is stumble around.

the amount of stun lock this guy pumps out makes geth primes attacking a Turian or other no roller character look like jokes.

does have some issues with Guardians tho. the trick to killing them is to use a Concussive shot and hit them with the falcon while they are stunned.

Atlases and other big boss like them are best left to your teammates while you handle any little guys who are stupid enough to get in your way.

i dubbed it "Noob Tube" in refrence to the COD thing, since this character spews out more explosive grenades than anything could imagine...

(The thing is, I managed to top the scoreboard several times during the time I tested it. I wasn't sure about what that meant about the infiltrator class, though, so I decided not to start a thread about it. I didn't want to come across as an infiltrator hater. And hey, maybe it's just that I'm the most amazing player ever and there is no need to get worked up about it.)

Fun fact: How can someone complain about your build ingame when noone knows what build anyone is using? :)
