I have to admit the dlc wasn't that bad but it was cheesey. I didnt get to fight harbinger or even the illusive man in hand to hand combat like the last to games. I thought it was a dream to see admiral anderson to live or die. why didnt you just make it a dream and wake up after the explosions of the reaper on earth its all miss leading somehow the theroies for Indocternation would have made sense some how.

Wow! Fantastic job Bioware! LOL at the people that were saying that Bioware are not listening! (Before the EC came out). It was pretty much like going through a check list of requests and complaints. (Obviously except the ones who said that the ending should be changed completely.) (Which would have been completely unfair for the people who liked the ending.)
P.S Exceptional job Sam! I loved the new tracks.

oh my god.. now i finally get into "red" (destroy reapers) ending, and ... i am speechless.. it s so awesome, so emotional, so great, wow, wow and once more wow, that s like nothing i have seen for years, Bioware u definetely won my heart, i know computer games from year 1989 , but omg this one, this is not even computer game anymore in this ending, this is masterpiece, art, something i would expect from author of for example J.R.R.Tolkien level, this ending is much more better than any book, movie, game etc. i saw, read, experienced in years
and omg if it s true that u were limited by 2 GB for this DLCs, because i noticed u used just narrator+pictures for few scenes, if u really wanted to do more cut-scenes i am just speechless again O_o , it s obviously that authors of this game- organics creators love their synthetic baby lol :D
thank u so much, and thank u even more for giving us this for free, it s awesome, and there re not so many companies who did this for their fan base, or listen to fans as u do!

i also wonder about one thing, when in original ending, Normandy landed on some unknown world, it seemed to me like, crew of Normandy will basically establish new civilisation, and Stargazer could be their offspring, now i see Normandy left that world lol O_o so much for my theory lol

The EC make the ending a lot more complete.
It still leaves some questions unanswerd but I really enjoyd the new endings (But it's still not really mine). Greate Job!

Bioware admitted that they wanted to create a ending about that the people will debate and speculate. And I think they have accomplished that.

Those who still don't like the ending could allways grab a few friends and play there own ending in an pen&paper RPG. The current game could be used as an inspiration on how to do thing and how not.
For example Shepard could have failed to enter the beam, but an N7-Squad (the players) might succeded in that. Shepard was just a feint to get the attention of Harbringer.

I would recommend the rule book "Star Wars Saga Edition". There are some convertions for mass effect in the internet. I've allready tried it and it works really well and catched the mood of the game quite good.

I was for the Indoctrination Theory but really well done Bioware. I find the ending really great now. It was just not enough explain without EC, now it's great. Now Mass Effect is one of the best story I have ever seen and in some way lived ! Thank you Bioware.

GREAT endings now. there is closure. i don't even mind the kid anymore. the refusal option was nice to have as well. over all a great job. not to be negative but i do hope that Casey Hudson & Mac Walters learned a good lesson from this. producers & directors explain their vision & leave it to the writers & artist to flesh out their visions. this ending would have been the most epic ending ever made had it been the original ending. now we see exactly how the choices effected the galaxy. & yes they r vastly different endings. i'm actually glad indoctrination wasn't what was happening after i saw all the endings. i liked the theory it's just these endings are more satisfying. & the voice over epilogs were in a word... FANTASTIC. thank you wholeheartedly.
i do have 1 question though. since we still get the shepard breath sceen with destroy does that mean there will be a DLC to resque him from the burnt out citadel? i noticed the crew didn't put up his name plaque on the normandy as well. just wondering?
thanx again... amazing ride

My only gripe is the "Breathe" scene again from 'red' ending...Shep lives, but that's all we get basically. I understand if it's left like that, but it would have been much better for me to see where that went.

I have to say, I am rather happy with the extended cut. The evacuation scene was well done and emotional. The extra dialogue with the catalyst helped make some sense of what was going on. I love that they put a Refusal ending in. All four endings had very different feels to them and I now felt like I saved the galaxy instead of destroying it.

Ashley at the memorial was the most emotional moment I've ever experienced in any entertainment medium. She DID NOT put my name on the memorial, but looked hopeful that I could still be alive. And I was.

An actual reunion with Ash would have made it perfect, but I have no reason not to believe she does indeed find me. A scene with Shepard being rescued from the citadel reuniting with Ash in the hospital would be great to see. And maybe a future epilougue codex DLC would be good too.

THIS. Exactly.

Only for Jack : P

Just did the synthesis ending.
I was pretty negative (like many) about the original ending..I also figured the new extended cut would be just a bit of bull
one ending, I was amazed..it is not the perfect ending, but it was outstanding nonetheless.
I played this entire series (A few times) with a used copy. I will now be purchasing it full price for online fun.
Bioware, you sorted it out...well done...your back to being ace in my book. No, its not indoc, but you did listen to our core concerns. It all made sense now..well, not all (shoulda just snipped out the stargazers). Now....about Dragon Age 3.... :)

Thank you for this. really good. I want to talk for ages about it now..but this time with positive wording.
Still worried about how a new story (ME4) can happen in such a altered universe...gonna have to official line the ending? quite intrigued now as to where it goes from here.

Oh, and to the ppl whom are hating...you stand on nothing if your still going on. This is what an ending is supposed to look like. (I might be a bit fanboy now..will contemplate the ending more in time..but this was not a disappointment)

I was pretty negative too. I find Control, refuse and destroy endings good. Control amazed me, really :D. But i dont like synthesis at all.
Anyway, i expected more story from my crewmates (not only from me3 but from me1 and me2 aswell, not just images)and LI. Also, you should have added something if you survive with the destroy ending.
In any case, thanks for the dlc.
P.D.: What about adding more endings with some other dlc anyway? i liked the idea :P

The damage control techniques didn't work here, Bioware.
The endings were still awful, the only thing you did was further create issues and problems and loopholes and plotholes and continued to perpetrate a hilarious circular logic.
I already refunded my disk with Amazon.co.uk and I watched on youtube the endings and they were awful.

Are you on xbox? If so try clearing your cache and then downloading it, I've heard that this sometimes works.
By the way the first bit of new content is during the run to the beam. Just saying that so that you know when the new content is supposed to appear.

Loved it. I chose Control ending again and even though I haven't seen the other ones, it seems like the best option.

SPOILERS

The scene when they put Shepard's name on the memorial actually made me let a tear and that's something.

SPOILERS END

Not everyone will agree, but good job BioWare! Looking forward to future DLCs if you make any.

I loved all the endings. I think the best was the control ending, which surprised me because it was the ending I hated the most.

Spoilers:
My shepard being a guardian entity and protecting humanity and all life for as long as he is in existance is amazing and awesome.

Spoilers end:

Uh, sorry if it was asked before because I can't figure out **** from what Bioware was trying to say here. Is the Extended Cut out for the PS3 already? Or it will be out only on the 4th of July?

It is already out in North America, but Europeans and Australians have to wait until 4th of July.
