Eh...spoilers allowed? Doesnt look like anyone before me cared...so:

With the last "Take-breath" scene, with a smile I imagine the moment when Liara will have to take Shepard's name down again from the honor wall - when they meet again, after the relays are restored and the team comes back together.
The fact alone that you gave us the relays and galactic civilization back in these extended endings was well worth the wait. Thank you Bioware for listening to the community and giving us the closure we (or at least the ones like me who are satisfied now!) had hoped for.

And while it might not be perfect, I remember: the Illusive Man sought perfection. And look where it got him.

I love you, Bioware!!!

Oh yes, that would be cool.

This ending now, is much better. The Destroy one.

To bad the "**** off" choice is a **** you from the Reapers and Bioware. I would have loved to see the fleets busting the heads off the Reapers in pure combat had you achieved all possible Assets and 100% on the EMS.

Thank you!!! The EC is what i felt was 'missing' for the orginal endings. This helps me give the closure that this game deserves and to solve a few of the WTH questions that popped up the first time I finished the game. Now I think I start the 5th or 6th playthough of ALL 3 games, like I planned, without stopping short of Earth, like I have been doing.
Thank you

Okay, but I always liked the idea of having a choice at how to stop the reapers. A simple 45 minutes long cutscene of space combat wouldnt have been very Mass-Effect-ish.

I just wish there was a synthesis ending where shep could live so that I could get the cheesy, unrealistic perfect conclusion so that I may replay some moar. But it's so hard trying to go back and play all three again at this point

The new endings are much better and they bring more closure.

1 thing for me that got me a little annoyed was the "good" ending. I really would of loved to see an expansion of Sheppard in the rubble. Even if it was some marines walking and finding shepard.Picking him/her up with sheps arms over there shoulders and sending him/her on one of the shuttles with shep is barely alive. For me thats the only down side but overall quite happy with the endings and look foreword to seeing more of the Mass Effect Universe and crew again if it is possible. It has me curious by the message at the end of the game once you've completed it.

I'd like to thank everyone at Bioware for taking the time making the EC and most of all listening to the community and the fans. Thanks so much and dam....i want more Mass Effect. lol :)

Bioware, Thank You. As someone who hates the original ending more than anything I can now honestly say that you really fixed it all.

SPOILERS

After playing the EC yesterday I was so relieved. The ending played out really well and I'm so grateful to Bioware for listening to their fans.

The evacuation scene with my LI Liara was so heartbreaking. I loved that moment and it brought tears in my eyes. Talking with the Catalyst more and having a chance to ask several times certainly answered many questions that were left completely open in the original ending. The refusal ending (which I accidentally got at first since I shot at the kid) was short but absolutely brilliant.
This time the final choice really mattered. I found the control ending a little creepy but fascinating and in the synthesis ending EDI really made me emotional. But still, the destroy ending is the one and only option for me. It was brilliant, beautiful; it was a sacrifice without losing too much. And Shepard is still alive.
The last scene at the memorial wall made me cry again. It was the most emotional scene I have ever seen. Especially in the destroy ending when your LI seems to know that Shepard is still alive makes it even more emotional.

The only thing that bothers me a bit is the last scene where Shepard takes a breath. I want to know what happens to her next, but I guess that it's up to the players to figure it out.

Thank you Bioware. I love you again.

I totally agree!!

***SPOILERS***

My playthrough with mShep involved Kaidan as my LI (One of the best written romances in the game, in my opinion), and the evac scene.... Jesus, I LEGIT teared up. Hearing Shep say 'I love you' almost killed me and when Kaidan is frantically reaching out for him, it's just so god-damned heartbreaking. Just when I thought it couldn't be any more sad, I get the scene of Kaidan putting Shepards name on the wall!! At least the upside is that Shep wakes up in the rubble (still would have liked some clarification there).

Long story short; I will most definitely shell out money for anything related to bringing some form of romantic reunion, etc. Some of us just want to see Shepard happy and no longer having to sacrifice everything!!

I didn't have a problem with the original endings. They left much to the imagination. However, I loved the extra info from the DLC and was glad to see my thoughts about the original endings were not that far off. Thank you Bioware for giving us the clarification. Please continue on with this series! I love the Mass Effect universe!

I thank you Bioware for attempting to provide us with a stronger ending, and for plugging some of the gaping plot holes left in the first run through.

The endings are all still kind of bad but it's certainly an improvement and at least the main issues (plot holes, out of character moments, rushed, three different-colored endings, etc) have been, for the most part, fixed.

The relays aren't completely destroyed, your squad isn't stuck on Gilligan's Planet, and you finally can get information and question the kid about everything. Telling the kid to **** right off was the most satisfying ending, even if everyone died anyway. Control was the only other one I chose as it was the first I had decided with, and it's probably still the "best" out of those three, which isn't saying too much.

Still the biggest issues with the ending are:
- your decisions not mattering in the end (Rachni and Collector Base in the rest of the game especially)
- the final level was mediocre, especially after the Suicide Mission in the second game and it should've played out similar to that with you seeing the entire army you amassed and commanding them suicide mission style
- objectively, it's still poorly written. A main antagonist switch within the last 5 minutes is still horrific.

However I wasn't really expecting any of that to be addressed so at least I didn't get my hopes up. I'd say it's at least passable now and I can play the game again. Still disappointed it ended like this, but it's a massive improvement from the previous endings.

Agreed, the EC is a lot better than the original ending and way better than I expected, I maybe even could live with the EC as ending if they shipped it like that right away but now that they changed it (and that´s what they did no matter how you put it, things actually changed) it´s sad they decided to such a weak ending.

Even so they said this is the final ending and there will be no more changes to it, I still have a little bit of hope left that there actually will come more and maybe even something that will affect the ending after reading about the Leviathan of Dis lines some people found in the DLC  and that is actually the only DLC that would matter for me, DLC you can buy to change the ending.

Appreciate the effort, the end is improved (not hard considering what it was like in the vanilla game). Still, in contains problems and to me is still a weak end to the trilogy. I am however, unlikely to buy any paid DLC for this game, unless it was to contain a significant amount of character content or was very (ie LotSB) good.
