I thought the extended cut was a big improvement over the original and whilst not perfect I now have closure. I'd just like some more single player DLC to go with it.
IGN reported there was single player content in ECDLC. Hinting on some new. Single player DLC coming soon. I'll go to IGN and try to find the article

Thank you. I do hope we get official word soon. ME2 spoilt me with quality DLC. I just want more time with Shepard!
Me also. Shep has turned into my face chrarcter to play. Here is what I found, the link might not work but you can tell where to go by looking at the address

Now eager to see if the solo mission will have more DLCs, I see the efforts given for the multiplayer

Looking forward to the next Mass Effect game, in whatever setting it may be.

Tbh I had hoped Bioware would have surprised us with something completly new and not yet seen in the game industry. Which they would have if they had gone with the indoctrination theory.
Instead it was just a pretty basic ending which would have been fine would it have been in the game from day 1. Anyway glad there is now some decent closure of the trilogy. Sad they didn't put it in from day 1 or make it more epic and industry changing.

But I must admit that the destroy ending was the one I wanted to see because it's the only one were Shepard survives. I wanted to see him meeting with the rest of the Squad and his LI but the EC says nothing more than the standard destroy ending in that way.
I'd like a real clousure for the destroy ending (like the others ending have). Is he dead? Ok, show us he is dead. Is he alive? Then show that he is alive and come back home with the others.

Liked an original endings - so for me it's a cherry on top.
Granted, EC is not top-of-the-line product, it's not that polished and doesn't answer all the questions,
but willingness to do extra content to satisfy part of the fanbase is admirable and should be encouraged. So I guess I'm buying next DLC. If I manage to keep my job, that is.

I liked the original ending too, but this is much better. I like all of them.

This is nice job - not perfect but nice. Still not harbinger to chat...
But I like that ending enough to wait for more DLC. Maybe it is time to buy more points:) And it is really good it was made. Thanks Bioware.
I would like to have one with Shepard alive - hope the red one could be that one. Would be nice DLC:)))
And I glad I could shot the kid:)))))))))))))))))))) The ending was not my favorite then, but hey, there were possibility and it counts:)

then again based on what happened in the end that may not be possible, I hope bioware can make it work!

I don't know...I still kinda feel ME2 & ME3 are simply 'dreams' to Shepard. He/She in that *GASP of breath scene is merely him/her surviving the crash of the Normandy from the beginning of ME2. So I keep wondering if the Collectors and Reapers are still coming. Shepard is alive after the crash and still has to recover in order to, now, actually go off to fight the Reaper threat. And that of course is if 'Reapers' are in fact, real. The whole attack on the Citadel now could actually just be a Geth attack, and Saren's ship "Sovereign", was just some remarkable piece of Geth technology....Kinda like the Asari counselor mentions in ME2.
Wow, gotta say that's a very interesting theory. Way out there, but very interesting. But then that would make everything in Mass Effect 2 and 3 all for nothing.
Didn't ME3's ending already made everything in ME1/ME2/ME3 all for nothing? It did for me.

Thought the extended ending was fine - less bleak, there's a bit more hope, and more importantly, more possibilities for a sequel!!! Would be good if we could move on, and see more of the ME universe as it has to rebuild.
There are NO possibilities for a sequel! Thanks to the endings that some people love so much.
Not after these 3 very diferrent outcomes for the galaxy. Otherwise BW will have to make 3 different games. I don't see that happening unless they pick one ending as cannon and render the other two useless(and then what was the point in putting them in the game in the first place?) So no, there can be no sequel. The only thing that they can do after that is prequel (First Contact War for example), but thats not something that I'm interested in.

After all, Shepard could die in ME2 and that was the end of his story, well, it will be the same here... people will complain but they'll move on.
It had to happen at some point anyway, it would be impossible to keep add more and more variables across 4, 5, 6 games...

Still think that killing the hero of a video game is not creative, not artistic but just a lame try...It's overdone lately - I'm SICK of it...
I don't play enough games, I guess. The last one I played where the hero dies was DA:O, and that's only by the player's own free choice.
What recent games have the protagonist dying?
Fallout 3...
Protagonist survives if you either:
A: Get Sarah Lyons to activate the purifier
B: Have the Broken Steel DLC.
Incidentally, I was playing DA2 when Varric said something to Anders that I thought was ironic.
"It dosen't make a great story if the hero dies".

This is why you failed, Bioware. Now, my computer is "mass effect-free". No games, no dlcs files, not a single save. And I'm thinking about what should I do with my ME games. Sell it? Or maybe just smash it with a hammer...

They should expand the Priority: Earth mission, turn it into an all-out ground war with tanks, troops, Reapers etc. to actually make it look like we're invading to take it back. It would be a nice setting to show all those war assets (Krogan, krogan riding kakliosaur etc.) we've been grinding.
Right, how about we just call it mass effect battlefront 3?..
Come on...get real this aint battlefield/SW battlefront.

Well, excuse me for wanting to feel that "take Earth back" vibe...
