the extended cut left me satisfied -and all endings now MAKE SENSE-WOW:) and the relays are in some sensible state not just stardust <3it was very nice to see some effort put into the reworked ending not just "smudging some paint on" [thats what i've expected before seeing ending i confess] as person above me why did this not found itself in the first release? this woud've saved the lot of us a lot of well time-in the end i'm inclined to call it a good job now ok here goes GOOD JOB BIOWARE! ....finally in the end:)broadsta86uk wrote...
I thought it was good answered most of my questions, Onlu Question is: why oh why didn't you do it when game was released
edit: as it 's been hinted on previous page[s] as there is now opportunity to survive for Shepard after all-slim but always something -wouldn't it be a good [psst...and profitable] idea to make more about Mass Effect and ...yes more Shepard? i think it would be a very good idea -time will tell if others share my point of view -and i hope sincerely they will

If you have sufficiently high EMS (3100+) to get the teaser scene, and you pick the destroy ending, your LI does not place the plaque. Otherwise, she does. As to paragon vs. renegade, I've only played Paragon, so I can't vouch for that bit one way or another.
Damn.
Used Liara as LI in all 3 episodes, had all DLCs,saved Wrex, cured genophage, saved Eve,all members loyal in ME2,only lost Jacob when blowing up collector base and Thane to Kei Leng, refused Salarian deal, ended war between Geth and Quarians, saved Rachni Queen twice and chose Destroy with max paragon.
Liara still placed my plaque on the wall, but smiled when she did it.And this was with over 7100 TMS (3500 EMS).I still took a breath in the rubble however,so there is that...
Only two things I can think of what may have changed that:
I didn't take her on the final assault (I didn't want her getting hurt)
I didn't work at all on Galactic Readiness (50%)
UPDATED: Took Liara on the final push this time and either I wasn't paying attention the first time or taking her makes all the difference. No plaque on the board this time :smug:

I want the next story the stargazers were talking about! I want Shepard in ME 4! and pleaaase not a prequel
Bioware said before this game was released its the last chapter of Shepard story, time I move on unfortunately, would be good to see a dragon age origins setting in a mass effect 4 though, being able to pick your race, background stories and start from scratch. In regards to the stargazer talking about more stories that will just be a hint at DLC not mass effect 4

July 5th, 1850 hours Australian Eastern Standard Time and still no dice. Where is it?
Try restarting the play station and logging into your PSN, then the store. I had it available at 2am this morning.

I'll just quote the latest post, although it's a general addressing to many other posts in the last couple of pages:
There's just no chance we'll get to see Shepard in another game after the Reaper War. Mainly because he/she is dead in all but one ending (and even then only with a certain amount of EMS). It's even highly unlikely we'll have a new protagonist in a game or trilogy set after the Reaper War, since the galaxy has changed fundamentally depending on your final choice, and BioWare would essentially have to make three games in one. It's just not going to happen, so don't waste your time getting excited about something we won't see anyway.
I would of course like more Mass Effect myself, in theory. Just depends heavily on what direction they would take for a new game.

And I say again, it's not impossible. I'm not suggesting anyone get their hopes up, just saying anything *can* happen - its short sighted to assume that we know exactly what's next for the franchise as they've told us there will be more...
Yes, they also said this was the end of Shepard's story, but we could still contifoll'following Shepard dead or alive through another character.

You say impossible, I say a little different coding.
In the same way that they show you different characters during certain missions I.E. Wrex was dead so you got Wreav, Mordin was dead so you got Padok.
The other games would be the following:
A. Same missions with a few varients depending on your ending.
B. Slightly different characters depending on your ending.
It would be a coding nightmare for sure, but impossible? I doubt that, especially with how powerful the new consoles are looking to be. It seems more likely that we won't see a new ME for quite a while, say a few years.
