But in all seriousness, I still have mixed feelings. Just because the filesize is enormous doesn't mean it'll be guaranteed worthwhile.

I bet it's a Picture representing some Default. Should have had both VS's AND FemShep. In my Main/Personal/Number One Story (Male Shepard), Kaidan is Alive. Just because I'm Male Shepard, doesn't mean Ashley HAS to be Alive. The same goes for My Femshep. In her Story, Ashley is Alive. Just because she's FamShep, doesn't mean Kaidan HAS to be Alive. This is one of the things that Make BOTH Stories Alternate from One Another.

Oh, my goodness! I wasn't expecting this. I thought there would be some news at SDCC; then more waiting. Lol. (Soooo...this means they're gonna have sum moar interesting news at SDCC?!?)
The podcast was good. Down to earth. For the first time I felt like they kinda got it. Like they weren't just listening, but actually heard some of the issues alot of fans were talking about.
Also sounds like it may help the replay value because you get to see a bit of different scenes as to how your decisions impacted your friends and their worlds. Their future existence,
I'm gonna start a fresh ME3 game. Season it with a bit of MP. And we'll see.
Good luck to you, BW. Good luck to us all. I hope this turns out in a satisfactory way for everyone concerned.
Whatever happens with this, personally I hope we can all finally gather our wounded, and go forward. New stories to told. New characters to meet. New adventures to be had.
Oh, Casey and Mac, have a shot of Tequila, or two. You sound a lil nervous in that podcast. Especially at the beginning. Lol. I feel like at this pint, hey, you've done all you can do. It is what is, what it will be. Time to just rock on into something else.
But, yeah, this was unexpected.

1.9 Gigs... That's HUGE for an "extended cut"! Lair of the shadow broker, in comparison, was 1.5 Gigs!! This means that it will definitely not be only 1-2 cut scenes and a dozen dialogues... I'm really intrigued!
Honestly, I have zero expectations for the EC... which means that I can only be positively surprised! And if I'm not? Well... We already went through this and ME3, in my opinion, is still one of the greatest games I ever played even if I didn't like the original endings!!!
My N7 level is near 3000 on multiplayer... I wouldn't have reached this level if the game was anything less than exceptional!

Love how staff seem to indicate this update is to do with fans wanting closure, which I disagree with strongly. My main issues were to do with a lot of things which I felt was not explained properly. The choices at the end I may not agree with but can live with, these changing after release is never going to happen really.
Purposely vague here not to spoil for people, but hopefully those who have seen the ending will understand what I am trying to say.

Crossing my fingers and hoping for the best.
The individuals interviewed in the podcast got me concerned however but i will give them the benefit of the doubt until i play for myself.
This statement concerned me though- "all the big decisions the player made throughout mass effect 3 leaving the story with literally millions of different permeations on the final state of the galaxy" Sounds a little bit too much like the exagerated hype fed to us pre release. Maybe im reading to much into that comment but the fact that it does remind me of pre release statements and the fact that its Casey again making the comment worries me a bit.
But will reserve final judgement for next week and hoping for the best

Looks like they already prepared the ground for 'rejection' by the fans by saying they know that they cant please everyone and that the EC will NOT please everyone downplaying the number of people who did not like the ending in the first place. Still sounds like they are in denial yet saying they listen

Just finished my complete Mass Effect series play through today, excellent timing for EC. Galactic readiness at 100% and all choices made fit my "canon story". Can't wait. I as happy enough with the original game, so whatever the EC brings to the table will be nothing but positive addition.

Well, I'm going to do my best to go into this with an open mind. I hated the ending in general (mostly because of the god child) but maybe this can redeem it. Who knows.
If it's still a load of garbage then I think I'll probably avoid taking interest in future BW titles.

If you succeed Bioware, I will remove my Retake sig in your honor! Best of luck!
Same here!
And I will replace it with a "Thank You Bioware" sig, and probably do something with my avatar. =D

I have already "come to terms" with the ME ending, so I don't think I'm going to be disappointed with the EC if it doesn't "fulfill my expectations." To many, anything extra is good, so I'll look forward to downloading and playing it on the 26th!

I do hope it clears somethings up, but I honesty just want a happy ending with my Shepard alive and with his/her LI. (For me I want to marry Liara and have those little blue children) But we will see, from what it sounds like it wont be anything like that. And I guess this EC wont bring back any of the LI and or squadmates from ME2. Like bringing back Samara as a full LI and squadmate like they promised. But I guess that can be for another DLC, if they even do it.

I can't wait to see if this is another event in EA/Bioware's continuing downfall or if this will be a step in the right direction of redemption.
Oh, next week will be so fun. I don't have high hopes for the EC. I am a firm believer that the ending is so poorly written and full of plot holes that you cannot fix it without major rewrites.
But I recognize that there is a small chance of being pleasantly surprised... a very small chance.

I also like how on the Pod Cast video on Youtube you disabled the like/dislike ratings, because you know how people are going to rate it. Because its not what we have been asking for and you know it.

I pray that though I am unable to download the Rebellion DLC ( stupid origin!) that I am able to download this. If not Bioware is in trouble....................................
