This is not what we wanted. You never listened to us. You ignored us at every interval.

Congrats BioWare, you're the NEW Lionhead Studios. Casey Hudson is your Peter Molyneux. You went from gaining our trust and loyalty to now creating nothing, but lies and disbelief in your fans and consumers.

You never cared about your fans, otherwise we wouldn't have had this "Extended Cut" of the same ending we hated. Drew Karpyshyn should have stayed as lead writer, at least he'd keep Casey Hudson in check.

Thanks for making the amazing adventure meaningless and pointless within the 10min the game ended. If I had known this is what Casey Hudson wanted, I wouldn't have even bothered with ME at all.

Thanks for not listening to your fans. We'll still fight you btw, till we get our better ending.

Speak for yourself. All I wanted was closure and to see the outcome of my decisions. According to the podcast, that's what the EC will focus on.

Instead of fighting bioware, you should just move on. Your blood pressure will thank you for it ;)

Hello again...

I just wanted to share a few observations about the "size" of the extended cut which is 1.9 Gigs!!

Mass Effect 3 demo is 1.63 Gigs.
Mass Effect 3 complete game is 14 Gigs.
From Ashes DLC is 0.62 Gigs.
Rebellion DLC is 0.03 Gigs.
Resurgence DLC is 0.05 Gigs
Mass Effect 2 Realm of the Shadow Broker is 1.52 Gigs

1.9 Gigs is a LOT of stuff... Hell there could even be game play and boss fights with all the promised "closure and explanations" in a file that big... I'm really intrigued to find out but not over exited. I know better than to raise my hopes too high! However... IT speculations have no reasons to be extinguished yet! The file size is enough to keep it alive until the 26th... We shall then find out!

Only thing I know is that Ashes DLC was great enough to me, so the fact that those 0.62 GB was awesome gives me some hope that those 1.9 GB will end Shepards journey whit a bang, but above all els I need REAL disclosure for the companions and OHTER characters. And I'm talking blue babies here or turian babies whit human hair or a house on Rannoch.

Orange.... Cry in a corner. This is a celebration!

A celebration? More like a pacifier.

EC marks the beginning of new content dlc. Because all projects and dlc schedules were put on hold to appease you re-takers.    Hence the celebration that new content and hopefully some planets exploration will return!!!! I for one am excited to see new content and future dlc

I am at the part where you charge down the hill at the beam and EDI and Liara just stand there at the top

hum, guess they know something about 'leave shep behind she's toast' i was not aware of.

Anyways, i'm restarting here after installing the DLC to see if I get the new stuff or if I HAVE to play threw the final two main missions. I just so happen to be here by chance and kinda don't want to replay those unless there is new stuff in those areas.

I thought i read it's all 'after' the beam in Tweets from Jessica

my guess i will have to replay ;/

but if some major vids were tweaked a little bit and recompilled/rendered again it might not be much new.
I have no idea how that works i just assume a file we currently have is 'replaced' by one in the DLC even if it just adds one little 2 second graphic......but i have no idea.
i too hope it's a lot of new content

According to the podcast, the best way to start the EC is right before Chronos Station. You might be better off finishing the game and have the game reset to that point.

You know, it's really rather hard to tell from the podcast that she's working for you rather than a random third party.

But we all should be use to Bioware making excuses For there Failures, But i do hope that the extended cut that they Do right by us the fans

Well after listening to the pod cast I have 2 things to say.

1. Its what I expected and I am not inpressed.

2. The EC was limited due to the 2GB DLC limit of xbox360. Sorry xbox owners but this just pisses me off that due to the limits of your console and microsft WE all might suffer.

Im sorry but it shouldnt be bigger then that because some people you know dont have alot of space left

If the DLC can FULLY explain: 1.The fate of the crew 2. The fate of the United Fleet 3.Explain the Aftermath and 4. Give REAL variation to the story. If Bioware can do that with less than 2.5 GBs, then cool. But I'm just going to wait and see. Needless to say, I want to know what they have planned for final ME 3 DLC.

not sure if it's been said yet (not going through 28 other pages before this to figure it out) but in the podcast they say that the crew survives and no one starves to death and it's basically a happy ending but we just didn't get that from what we saw... in our defense though how do we get that from seeing all the relays explode with fleets from every species stuck orbiting Earth and as for our crew only 3 people pop out of the ship (which crashed and it's unknown if they have the supplies needed to get off planet or survive). You can't just put a ink blot in front of millions of people and expect them all to see what you see from it.

I have a save just at that currently so I'm gonna try both
One where i start at the beam and see the final then go back to the attack on the station to see just what was added.
thanks!

This exactly. Listening to that podcast was frustrating. It still sounds like Casey and Mac think we're all mind readers and knew exactly what we were supposed to insinuate from the ending!

But cane we reload the "Citadel: The return" mission, or there are some extra content also for Cerberus HQ and Earth missions?

Remaining sceptical, whilst, at the same time, rather excited. "But if this thing goes sideways [...] meet me at the bar."

PS. Please let there be NO CATALYST!

Okay, EC coming rather soon. But that's a good thing, as now I'll know soon if I should put much any thought and energy in ME and this forum. That is, the forum is pretty much dead to me now anyways, as I don't want to waste any more time trying to register my game and by now seemingly can't even post in the General Discussion anymore. Horray...

So yeah, let's see what Bioware has to offer with the EC. It's great, I might come back for more. It's ****, I probably won't be back until after reading satisfying user reviews about DA3.

Does anyone know how many of the major voice actors were called back? I remember reading that the voice actors for Hackett and EDI came in for new dialogue, but I never heard anything about the rest of your squad.

Wouldn't be surprised if there's some activity on these forums when the EC comes out. I'm just briefly emerging from my self-imposed don't post rule (because I kept posting rubbish) to say thank you to the team who put this together and to say that I'm really looking forward to seeing what you've got for us.

Jennifer Hale and Mark Meer have hinted that they are returning. This could mean more Shepard dialogue, more Starchild dialogue or both. I believe the voice actors for Ashley, Kaidan and Garrus are confirmed.

My guess would be the VAs for the main characters and squadmates are returning.
