You sure you've played ME1? From the Codex:No visits.Like the ancient human city of Troy, Ilos is a world known only through second-hand sources. References to Ilos have been found at several other Prothean ruins, though direct study of the world is unlikely to occur.Ilos lies in a remote area of the Terminus Systems only accessible by the legendary Mu Relay. Four thousand years ago, the Mu Relay was knocked out of position by a supernova and lost. Since then, Ilos and its cluster have been inaccessible.Occasionally, a university will organize an expedition to chart a route to Ilos using conventional FTL drive. These never get beyond the planning stages due to the distance and danger. The journey could take years or decades, passing through the hostile Terminus Systems and dozens of unexplored systems.
Second-hand accounts. As in derived from people who had been there. The relay has been out of commission for 4000 years. The Asari were already kicking around and using the relays at that time.
You're only about 1200 years off there. The asari didn't develop interstellar travel until over a millenium after the supernova that displaced the Mu Relay.
Also note that an archaeologist's report is a primary source if he's actually at the thing he's writing about.
Meant to say people. Earth is ravaged and there's still billions of humans. Then add in the aliens and everyone's SOL unless they find habitable planets very quickly.
Where do you get the idea that Earth is less habitable than it was before? That's the only way this makes sense.

Somehow I doubt that the EC free DLC will change people's minds on how the view this dlc or Bioware....
The point is that it takes a great deal of re-wiring in our brain to connect the dots differently e.g. people who are critical towards Bioware will probably still be be critical, people who support Bioware will probably still be supporting them...
Myself, I have alot of games to finish before playing ME3 - and I need a new computer too....

I want Tali to take her damn helmet off, no more poorly edited pictures.

All I want too.
Sorry to burst your bubble, but Merizan tweeted that this won't be happening.
It IS Merizan we're talking about though....so who knows? We can only hope.
Hard to imagine a context in which Tali takes off her mask. Being on Earth and all of that... Unless they're planning a "x years later" scenario.
Best scene for this to happen would have been after they reclaimed
Rannoch and took down the Reaper. Tali does take her mask off but they
don't show anything. I though for sure this was it when I
first played. This would have been the perfect opportunity to reveal
her face. If you romanced her it could have been semi romantic, if you
didn't it could have still been much more dramatic. Bioware missed a
sweet opportunity to pull this off in my opinion.

not sure if it's been said yet (not going through 28 other pages before this to figure it out) but in the podcast they say that the crew survives and no one starves to death and it's basically a happy ending but we just didn't get that from what we saw... in our defense though how do we get that from seeing all the relays explode with fleets from every species stuck orbiting Earth and as for our crew only 3 people pop out of the ship (which crashed and it's unknown if they have the supplies needed to get off planet or survive). You can't just put a ink blot in front of millions of people and expect them all to see what you see from it.
Damn straight, I'm completely dumbfounded that they would even say that. How could you possibly get anything else but utter chaos from that ending? They see hope for the future of the crew mates. Uh, what crew? They only show Joker and two other squad mates coming out of the normandy at the end. They say no one starves. Well, with no relays and everyone stranded I don't see how that's possible. Sorry Bioware, you continue to spew the bull crap. I'm not buying it. This is your make or break point and honestly I don't think you listened to a damn thing anyone has said and requested.

But cane we reload the "Citadel: The return" mission, or there are some extra content also for Cerberus HQ and Earth missions?
According to the podcast, new scenes will be added as early as Cerberus Headquarters (Cronos Station). I think that's the first stage of the final mission anyways.

Huh? Bio says that a couple of things you thought happened in the ending -- all but three people on the Normandy died, people starved -- didn't actually happen. And your response to this is that they're not listening? You're not asking for an EC that shows that everyone on Earth really did starve and all but three people on the Normandy really did die, are you?

Given the fact that the Reapers are a hyper advanced machine race that could wipe out everyone in the galaxy with relative ease, I'm not sure what kind of an ending people were expecting. They could make an ending where it makes sense, but to say there's very little casualties wouldn't make sense. The ending is going to be quite dark. It's not one of those happily ever after endings that's for sure.
No one has been decrying that they want a full blown hapy ending. Alot of people just want an ending they can be happy with.
If there are casualties fine. If there's dead squadmates also fine. No one ****ed as far as I know of Anderson dying.
They don't want a 5 minute starchild addition, completely turning the game on its ear, they don't want circular logic and they dont want the same cutscene with a different color scheme.
Most of all I don't think they want to pick between
Mass Slavery
Mass Molestation
Mass Genocide.
Because ultimately that's what control synthesis and destruction boil down to.

Plus Bioware said no one starves to death.
Sometimes the choices that we have to make have some serious consequences.

I'd disagree with mass genocide. I mean the Reapers were destroyed, but everyone else was unharmed. Did anyone not notice the soldiers on the ground who threw their arms in the air when the Reapers were defeated. Joker lived, as well as several others.
Plus Bioware said no one starves to death.
I noticed this but the whole fact with joker and the normandy in slipspace when shepard activated the crucible, was just odd. I'm sorry but shouldnt they be in the fight back around Earth? Just odd...
