It didn't say "all reaper tech." Some people think that, but that's another one of those weird misconceptions that aren't based on anything in the game.

As for getting home -- it depends. Standard speed is 12 light-years per day. Refuelling can be done by scooping helium-3 from gas giants, though between this and discharging drive charge your average speed won't be 12 l.y./day. Now, since the diameter of the galaxy is over 100,000 light-years, we're talking about up to a few decades to get home, depending on where "home" is for you.

Which doesn't make it impossible. Quarians got along for centuries without a home planet.

Wow, I just came to see if any news was available about the EC and it's coming out tomorrow!   I am definately hoping for the best.  Now I need to read the 40 pages of comments to find out what's going on and what info has been released since. 

I'll try not to get too excited.  I haven't played this game in months. I can't believe this is coming out tomorrow...



Edit: Okay, not reading 40 pages of comments, I'll just wait for tomorrow.  I would have replayed ME1 and ME2 if I had time, but I'll just go with ME3 first and replay if it's that good.  2GB seems fair, I wouldn't know for sure.  Why does it seem Xbox is in control of everything now?  Someone mentioned Skyrim:Dawngaurd, and Xbox is the only one getting that release in June.  I play on PC and PS3.  Next console is most likely going to be an Xbox for next gen system (for me).

I don't know...I still kinda feel ME2 & ME3 are simply 'dreams' to Shepard. He/She in that *GASP of breath scene is merely him/her surviving the crash of the Normandy from the beginning of ME2. So I keep wondering if the Collectors and Reapers are still coming. Shepard is alive after the crash and still has to recover in order to, now, actually go off to fight the Reaper threat. And that of course is if 'Reapers' are in fact, real. The whole attack on the Citadel now could actually just be a Geth attack, and Saren's ship "Sovereign", was just some remarkable piece of Geth technology....Kinda like the Asari counselor mentions in ME2.

Wow, gotta say that's a very interesting theory.  Way out there, but very interesting.  But then that would make everything in Mass Effect 2 and 3 all for nothing.

hmm got a weird feeling that i am going to come out of the ec feeling a lot worse then i do going in. i got over the ending about 2 months ago, hope this doesn't reignite those feelings. can't take loosing my childhood innocence twice.I just got it back

yeah, but personally i like the indoctrination theory the most, also makes the most sense to me right now with what we know and have seen so far with the reaper artifact from Arrival in me2 etc. but maybe thats just me wish thinking

yea im not expecing much from it my self cant see it making the ending seem better. EC is basically telling us why there ending stinks.

Then they should have been more specific, like 26th PST, because all they said is 26th, its been the 26th for nearly 3hrs, i want my DLC.

So i read the Faq and I have one question do i have to load a legacy save to experience the extended cut DLC? or If i start an entirly new playthrough of mass effect 3 will I experience it at the end of the game? If I have to beat the game just to load a legacy save and replay the last three missions then that is absolutly dumb. I dont want to have to playthrough the bad ending just so I can replay and get the good ones :/

Well, technically, they said you just use a save prior do attacking the Cerberus main base (Legend save file.....from what people are saying, i don't know personally), since thats where the DLC happens, i just hope this DLC gives all the closure i need, a prologue or epilogue, whichever is 'what happened in the next x years' or something like that.

It answers your quest in the DLC FAQ.......read it.
