The only complaint i have is towards the servers. Love the game and the franchise but the EA servers they use for ME are horrible. If they're gonna continue to have weekends like the one we just had then they need to either upgrade the servers for it or use the better ones

Sorry to repeat my question, but do I have to be an xbox gold member (if I only have ME3 on the xbox) to download this DLC today?

Incredible wrong, a majority of the minority that didn't like the end didn't like how big the plot holes were. Begging for a "good happy unicorn farting ending" is asking to much. Expanding on an ending and explaining things is not. Also if this does do what it says, I will finally have the desire to finish this game on renegade.

Just one comment: since you've used this metaphor, I'll expound a bit.  If I receive a dish for free or out of the goodness of someone's heart, I really ought not to complain.

So why are people intent on biting the hand they paid to feed them?  To end this idiotic metaphor, the ice cream sucked.

Well truthfully the "meal" was more expensive I know with the DLC and all three games(two collectors editions) on release it's probably closer to $250 given that the ME experience stretches out over three games and the DLC it's more like some kind of culinary experience over an entire day, Breakfast was good a little old fashioned but with a FPS twist and a lingering finish leading to a light lunch in a slightly different style to Breakfast focusing on the FPS elements with a few side meals on the side to whet the appetite and then dinner the final meal of the day the staff of the event have been hyping it up all day focusing particularly on the fact the drink orders you made through the day would help the chef customise your personal desert but in the end you get a choice of Neapolitan ice-cream.

Dont think so. Gold is only to play the online i believe........

But isn't there like a 7 day waiting period for all free content on the xbox silver? Or is that just for demos, etc.

"Itll be available at ROUGHLY 2 AM PST tuesday morning. I'll let you do the math for the # of hrs"

So that is 2 and a half hrs from now unless you are on PS3 in Europe or Australia.

Edit: Sorry I just realised that the 2AM PST may just be on xbox. PS3 and PC/Origin are up to their respective companies and when they update their store. Aslong as your not on PS3 in Europe or Australia you should get it sometime on the 26th.

Not sure. havent played xbox in over 12 months (and then, only cos my PC was stolen when i was burgalled) and got free gold. check your game boxes for one of those leaflets that gives you about 1 day of free gold just to be safe......... lol

I know i'm just nit-picking now but i find the way Bioware has treated the release of this DLC a bit disappointing, the twitter post was downright snark-y with the "i'll let you do the math for the # of hours" comment. For an addon that was supposedly inspired by the dedication of the fans and as a potential olive branch from the developers they sure aren't sounding too happy about the thing.

I'm willing to bet that the explanations are going to ****** of just as many people as did the ending itself. Different people, maybe. But the same amount.

well, if 2am pacific is 5am eastern then that makes it 10am UK. which is still about 2 and a half hours away. plus an hour for it being summer..... so 3 and a half..... im guessing PST means standard time and doesnt take into account the change in time for the summer..........

Problems with you arguement

1.  Playing this game on the PS3 instead of PC or 360 where you can play 1, 2 and 3.

2, Caring about Europe troubles is like thinking about getting on a diet while eating bacon and icecream. Same time or otherwise.

That is ONLY for demos. Do you honestly think that MS would let the purchase of new paid contents a week early exclusive to Gold members? No way.
