So do we still not have an ETA for the EC?

Mike Gamble on twitter:

"Itll be available at ROUGHLY 2 AM PST tuesday morning. I'll let you do the math for the # of hrs"

So that is 2 and a half hrs from now unless you are on PS3 in Europe or Australia.

And how long do PC/Origin uses in Australia have to wait?

i would hope the same amount of time as the rest of us. 2 and a half to 3 and a half hours.........

I know i'm just nit-picking now but i find the way Bioware has treated the release of this DLC a bit disappointing, the twitter post was downright snark-y with the "i'll let you do the math for the # of hours" comment. For an addon that was supposedly inspired by the dedication of the fans and as a potential olive branch from the developers they sure aren't sounding too happy about the thing.

How is that snarky?
I think he just said that so that it's easier for people who see it later to see when it will be released. There is no point saying that it is so many hours from now because it would not be accurate for people who look at it later.

This is gonna be fun.
Lets face, the people who hate the ending, are still gonna hate the ending, and the people who liked it are still gonna like it.
Me, I'm gonna sit back and watch the chaos.

Incredible wrong, a majority of the minority that didn't like the end didn't like how big the plot holes were. Begging for a "good happy unicorn farting ending" is asking to much. Expanding on an ending and explaining things is not. Also if this does do what it says, I will finally have the desire to finish this game on renegade.

You think so, huh?

I'm willing to bet that the explanations are going to ****** of just as many people as did the ending itself. Different people, maybe. But the same amount.

If this is true, then the DLC failed entirely and the rage will start back up, BUT if it does as it says it will, I do think so.

Stop excusing him for his snark buddy, the "it won't be accurate for those who look at it later" line is just bull.

If he says 2AM mountain time, someone can easily figure out what it is in their time zone, and if they look at it later then they'll not have to bother because it'll already be available for download.

They aren't in control of the exact time it is released guys. Microsoft, Sony, and EA (for Origin) control when DLC hits their marketplace.

Sorry, sorry, wasn't very clear i was not meaning to suggest that the singular comment was the source of the snark, i'm saying that other than the facebook/twitter announcements there really hasnt been any chatter about this, by comparison to say; one of their multiplayer DLC packs. There's no countdown, there's no in-game banner or header page, there's only the mention of it becoming available for the Wii-U on their homepage (bioware's homepage not Mass effect's home page there is most certainly one there). I'm just meaning to suggest that they should act a bit more produd of the addon, if the entire purpose for this is to improve their PR since the ending blunder you'd think they would make a bit more noise over it. Instead it seems to be that they are trying to keep it relatively down-key.

I've made up my own ending where using the crucible activates the citadels mass effect fields and shortly after prothean fleet emerges to kick ass and take names.

At the begining of their reaper attack the protheans managed to push small fleets through an advanced prototype relay they were working on(the crucible). the empire had kept it a secret from everyone so that the reapers could not follow.

now 50,000 years more advanced technologically and culturally the protheans decide to stay/return to their new home and leave the current galaxy to this cycles advanced species.

Shepard and crew enjoy cake.

... dont look at me like that. if EAware can make stuff up so can i.

Oh, ok, I see where you are coming from then. Maybe they don't want everybody to know that they had to make a DLC to improve an ending most people didn't like.

I have a question. If I just under 6000 in war assets but 50% in multiplayer, will it still give me the best ending (regular "best" ending, not DLC.) because I haven't been able to get it.

I wouldnt mind an explanation as to why both EDI and Miranda didn't know where TIM's base was, seeing that 1 had at least been there before and both were in constant communication with TIM there...

Yeah i had that thought aswel and i found it very odd.. but i was told that the base moves around constantly, i also think that they say it ingame? i can't really remember.

And do you think if this is a satisfying DLC, will our little war against the ending fire back up. I hope so, it died down quite a bit.

In the book, the bases change every two-three weeks to avoid detection and discovery.

Your kidding right, because of the tyranny of time zones Australia and New Zealand have been waiting longer then anyone, Scyrenus can complain as much as he/she likes that they have had to wait 17+ hours for a DLC that for Australia is going to be relased likely at a crazy late hour for something advertised to be relased on the 26th.
