Oh man, I'm on a PC and in Europe. Best I can tell I'll be able to play the EC long after the spoilers pour out. My best estimate is that it will be available in about 8-10 hours.

I can only imagine how PS3 players feel.

It's not really that difficult to say "starting release at blahblah time in US. Other regions may have to wait up to ___hours" or something. I mean, we all know they only care about America, but at least acknowledge the wait the rest of us have to face.

On Xbox.com, I too am in CST in Texas, and the EC has been available since 4.18am. I always check the website first.

It is up on the 360 in europe if you go to the downloadeble content bit on the title screen

Times for the US that this should be released at, for PC/Origin users. (According to another thread that was linked a few pages ago), and barring Origin doing something stupid to delay it.

I personally am dreading this DLC because the haters are just gonna hate and ruin the forums more then they already do. I have read not just on this forum but others with people already saying the DLC will suck without even touching it. The hate for Boiware is on overdrive and I really do not understand it. Some are just looking for a reason to hate and that is the only explanation.

I feel like a tool for staying up all night for no reason.  I had just wanted to get the thing DLing asap so that I wasn't only freshly starting to download it at 6 PM tonight while everyone else was already playing it.  So much for that plan.  Now I will be a zombie after only 2 hours of sleep, and for nothing.  Sigh.

Yeah, because America is the only part of the world that is reaaaaaaally important. Seriously, they should have gotten the announcement right. It's just rude to ignore a whole part of the gamers like this. People are waiting hours for this, and then you get: "oh, it will be up in the evening for you. Wait 8 hours longer."

Everytime a game is released somewhere, someone always takes to the messageboards complaining that they have to wait to play it. Such is life. A slight bit of common sense, when these people complain, would be nice.. do you honestly expect a company, which is based in North America, to allow people further ahead in time (ie: Europe) to play it before their 'home' crowd does? As another example, would you expect Square-Enix to release Final Fantasy games in Europe/America, before they release it in Japan?
Just chill and wait. There has never been any example of a gaming company not favoring its "home" crowd first, and to expect otherwise is asinine :\\

Hey is anyone having trouble downloading the dlc on xbox?  I just downloaded it off of xbox and it keeps saying Mass Effect extended cut is downloaded and will not stop! I try to cancel it but i keep getting a error message.

No, the issue is that its the 26th in Europe and America, the fact that Europeans must wait almost 20 hours longer before the Americans gets their hand on it is beyond me, i dont get why they want to relese this in europe like 4 hours before the 27th of june in europe

Just downloaded the EC and the goddamn "Mass Effect 3: Extended Cut downloaded" Message KEEPS FLASHING ON THE DAMN SCREEN.

Guys, why not to calm? It is logical that in EU it will be released later due a bout +6 hours here (I am European, yeah). If it will be release today or even tomorrow, not a big deal...
