Watched the Control ending on Youtube - deliberately staying away from the Destroy ending as that will be my ending next week, and I have mixed feelings. I still don't get how the squad got on the normandy - did I miss that explanation. Though I do like and accept the explanation for Joker leaving - not sure about the new crash scene though, he don't even look worried!
I was put off when I saw the still image epologue, but liked that it did show what happened after in a lot more detail. But one big problem (minor spoiler): there is some extended fighting scenes on Earth after you activate the crucible and it is just some DUMB SOLDIER. That could have been one of our squad instead! That sucked, I didn't care about that guy. Could of been Jacob, Grunt, Jack, Miranda anyone.
But yes, overly from what I see I am satisfied. I still look forward to my destroy ending next week.

Exactly. The explanation of why normandy left the earth is a bit forced, and the entire crashing scene seems a bit pointless right now, they just crash, gett off the ship, and then take off that planet again. There's really no need for it at all. And again how did squad mates apeeared on normandy in the first place.
Overall this ending is ways better and satisfactory but it also shows how bad and disconnected the original one was. I don't mean the idea, i pretty much liked it. I mean the way thais idea was presented, it felt unfinished and unpolished .

Thank you so much, Bioware! I just finished the extended cut and loved it. It reminded me a lot of the ME1 epic ending which to me, really reflects Shepard's journey.Thanks so much for listening to us.

You misunderstand my point. I just don't like how people like to point out that the EC is free. It is NOT. It is something that was supposed to be part of the original game. Which means that we have already paid for it when we bought the game.

How do you know it was supposed to be apart of the game? Do you work for Bioware, maybe it was and EA rushed them to launch it? Hey if it was atleast there launching it now for no extra cost instead of either charging us or not releasing it at all? I know its you're own opinion but you dont have the facts to back it up, if you show me something that proves it was supposed to be in the game itself, then I will believe you, im not saying ill all of a sudden think Bioware and EA are horrible, yes EA rushed they made a mistake, please get over it, people that bash the game make these forums no fun for people who love the game, if you wanna complain email Bioware, EA, or start some thread about it, it ruins the fun of everyone else.

Ugh, I was already getting excited when I saw it and pressed "download now", but then it says it has not been released yet. WTF.

Thats not biowares fault, Bioware and EA dont set the release times like hour minute, they only set the day, they download the content to the different platforms network, then the platform company decides what time to release it.

Well, I am totally hyped up and yes, I still trust Bioware (I think I'm the only one left that liked the original ending, a big boom always suited me) with improving the ending.

yes it is free remember when for example rockstar released missions for La noire that were supposed to come in the game but they made us paid for them in separate ?? hell, in europe we paid 1 or 2 missions that the us retail version of the game got for free !!

Thats true I cant speak for origin but for psn xbox different countries stuff like that.
